Bob Bachman

Bob Bachman, SVP Medical Solutions of AMST a Kentucky Trailer company, started his career in mobile specialty vehicles at the Calumet Coach Company in the early 1980's. Calumet developed the capability to manufacture mobile trailers for CT and MRI systems. Starting on the manufacturing floor, and moving into leadership roles, Bob became a customer service representative throughout the US and Europe. In the early 1990's Bob joined MICA (Medical Imaging Centers of America) as Operations Manager. MICA manufactured and operated mobile units and modular buildings housing MRI systems but shifted focus away from manufacturing. Bob used the opportunity to start AK Associates, Inc. as President, to complete the projects that MICA had in process and provide additional vehicle upgrade and refurbishment services. In 1997, Bob and Larry sold 75% of AK Associates to Prime Medical Services Inc., the largest urology services provider in the US.

Brian Clark

Brian Clark began his career at Kentucky Trailer in 1992 as an assembler on Line 6, at the original Kentucky Trailer location. Throughout the years, Brian has held various positions at the company (carpenter, welder, electrician, inspector, supervisor) and has been involved in all aspects of production and service. Today, Brian is the Service Manager at our facility in Louisville, KY as well as working with customers on the purchasing and selling of used trailers and equipment. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and family on Rough River Lake in Kentucky.

Brooks Boughton

Brooks Boughton is a 1998 graduate from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career as a Project Engineer at Net Shaped Solutions, a Cold Forming company. Later, Brooks became a Project Engineer for Burtek Inc., a defense contractor that manufactured trailers, HMMMV up fitting and ISO container modifications. Brooks later became the Director of Engineering at Trailer Technologies which was then acquired by Kentucky Trailer. Brooks has had subsequent roles within the company such as Director of Engineering & Production (2010), Vice President of Operations, KTT (2011), Vice President of Operations, KTSV group (2014), culminating in his current role as divisional President KTSV - Michigan.

Charles Ducas

Charles Ducas is a 1982 graduate from the University of Kentucky where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing, immediately joining Procter & Gamble in Augusta, Georgia after graduation. In 2004, Charles joined Kentucky Trailer Manufacturing as Director of Marketing and was promoted to its Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2006. Positions held within Kentucky Trailer include General Manager of the Kentucky Trailer Service Division (2008), Senior Vice President- Sales, Marketing & Business Development for Kentucky Trailer Manufacturing (2009), Senior Vice President- Sales and Marketing for all Kentucky Trailer divisions (2014). In addition to his Senior Vice President- Sales & Marketing corporate role, Charles is the General Manager of the Kentucky Trailer Specialty Vehicles Division were he leads the KTSV domestic and international expansion objectives (2015). Charles has extensive entrepreneurial experience having served pivotal roles across a wide variety of markets including national group purchasing, franchising, health care, gaming and the equine industry prior to joining Kentucky Trailer. Mr. Ducas, an AMSA member since 2005, currently serves on the ATA Moving and Storage Institute (MSI) board. He has held a number of AMSA positions including, the Board of Directors, Secretary, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the AMSA Supplier Committee and AMSA Conference & Expo Chairman.

Curtis Sawyer

Curtis Sawyer is a retired military service member after 25 years of service as an enlisted Marine and then an Army Infantry Officer. Curtis is a graduate of North Georgia College where he received his BS in Biology and the US Army Command and General Staff College where he received his MMAS from the Advanced Military Studies Program (SAMS). After retirement, Curtis spent almost a decade with a large defense contractor finishing as a Program Manager. Today, Curtis brings more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of customized specialty vehicles with an emphasis on Mobile Command or Operational Centers, Mobile Secure platforms and Data Centers, and Mobile Training and Simulation units. Curtis has worked for and with various law enforcement and federal agencies inside and outside the US, as well as with the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Curtis is also a member of AUSA, NDIA, and NTSA. Curtis joined the Kentucky Trailer team in January 2023 after being a very satisfied customer of five years.

David Smith

David Smith is a 2015 graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Olin Business School. He also earned a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management from the Olin Business School in 2016. David joined Kentucky Trailer in July 2016, and is currently Sales & Marketing Manager - Trailers. In this role, he manages key moving and storage accounts, as well as leading sales support initiatives and projects. David represents the fifth generation of family involvement in the R.C. Tway Company. David is also a member of the Supplier Committee and 40Below for the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). During his free time, David enjoys golf, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.

Dianna Raisor

Dianna Raisor is a 1997 graduate from the University of Kentucky where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education, a 1999 graduate from Sullivan University where she received a Master's of Business Administration, and completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University in 2015. Dianna began her tenure at Kentucky Trailer in 2011 and is currently the Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Marketing where she is responsible for organizing Kentucky Trailer's strategic planning efforts, analytical work through various initiatives, managing marketing programs and strategy throughout the company, and working with all divisions through CRM support. Dianna is a certified Salesforce.com Administrator and is the founder and leader of the Cincinnati Salesforce User Group established in January 2008. Dianna enjoys boating, volunteering in the community, and traveling in her free time.

Gary Smith Sr. is a 1983 graduate from the University of Kentucky where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in accounting and economics. After graduation, he worked with two international accounting firms and earned the Certified Public Accountant designation in 1985. Gary joined Kentucky Trailer as Chairman of the Board in August of 2006 after working with a small group of the R.C. Tway Company's fourth generation owners to arrange a transaction that resulted in a recapitalization of the Company and redemption of the third generation majority owners of the company. He joined the company as President and CEO in April of 2007. Subsequently, in 2013 Gary led the Company through a transaction that resulted in Kentucky Trailer becoming a majority owned operating subsidiary of Alleghany Capital Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alleghany Corporation. Gary Smith is now on the Board of Directors for Kentucky Trailer. Prior to Kentucky Trailer, Gary enjoyed a career as a successful entrepreneur and proven leader, having founded, managed and led companies where he was instrumental in growing and leading management teams to develop their businesses into successful enterprises. Gary's experience in public accounting, management experience with public and private enterprises and his sense of stewardship and passion for the R.C. Tway Company's heritage and legacy have come together to provide strategic thinking and leadership that today allows Kentucky Trailer to continue its long history of success.

Hunter Jordan

Hunter Jordan is a graduate from the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and a Minor in Business Management. Upon graduation, Hunter moved to Maui, HI. where he lived for three and a half years. During his time there, he worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in their management program. Hunter worked in a handful of resorts around Maui before moving back to Kentucky. Hunter joined Kentucky Trailer in fall of 2021 as an Inside Sales Representative for Kentucky Truck Body. He brings 6-years of customer service experience in air filtration equipment for the oil industry and over 3-years sales and customer service experience in the tourism/rental car industry. During Hunter's free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors by golfing, fishing, hiking, and surfing. He also finds enjoyment in listening to vinyl records.

Jake Lambroza studied at SUNY Stony Brook and New York University where he received a degree in International Business. Today, he is the Vice President of Moving and Storage for Kentucky Trailer. Larry Scott

Larry Scott is a Missouri native and attended Missouri State University. He spent 22 years in the moving & storage industry working his way up from a part time assistant to the owner of an agency with locations in both Lebanon and Springfield, MO. During that time, Larry was active in the Missouri Movers Association and served on the MMA Board of Directors for a number of years. In 1992, after selling his business, he moved his family to North Carolina and began selling moving and storage truck bodies. Since July of 2009, Larry has been the Kentucky Trailer Sales Manager for Truck Bodies. Larry works with customers, Kentucky's authorized distributors and management team to coordinate the sales, manufacture, and delivery of custom truck bodies to meet the demands of Kentucky Trailer's expanding customer base. He is also one of a very few vendor members to serve on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Movers Association. Larry and his wife have six children, five boys and one girl, with many grandchildren. They spend their free time enjoying their kids' and grandkids' sports activities and do a lot of babysitting. Hunting is a favorite pastime for Larry.

Randy Doering

Randy Doering joined Kentucky Trailer in January 2016 as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Prior to Kentucky Trailer, Randy was the General Manager of several businesses at NIBCO INC., a leading manufacturer of flow control products. Doering has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and operations management. Over the course of his career, he has successfully launched numerous new products and businesses. Tom has over 12 years of experience in the mobile medical market where he has developed strategic partnerships with both key medical equipment manufacturers and large shared service provider organizations. Tom joined Kentucky Trailer in 2012 as Senior Director of Sales, Medical Solutions. In this role he lead Kentucky Trailer's efforts to attain certified status with the key medical equipment manufacturers. Tom has been instrumental in the growth of the medical business at Kentucky Trailer both domestically and internationally. In his spare time, Tom enjoys spending time with family, sailing on Lake Michigan, sporting events, and concerts.

Tom Harper is Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Business Development for Kentucky Trailer's Specialty Vehicles division in Wixom, Michigan. Tom brings 30+ years of Custom Specialty Vehicle Manufacturing, Sales and General Administrative Management experience to his current role, leading the Michigan Sales, Marketing and Administrative teams, which serve several Markets, including; Enclosed Vehicle Transport, Commercial, Mobile Marketing / Event Marketing, Government, and select areas of Kentucky Trailer's Mobile Medical Specialty Vehicle offerings, among others. Tom is also responsible for new business development and marketing strategy, including planning and execution of the Division's numerous Trade Shows, Exhibitions & Conferences, creation of relevant brochures/collateral marketing materials, along with taking a key role in Website management and related content creation. Tom has held several positions in his nearly 20 years at Kentucky Trailer, including General Manager of the Walled Lake, MI Specialty Vehicle division, preceded by assignments as Director of Sales & Marketing, and his initial role of Systems Manager. Previous to his career at Kentucky Trailer, Tom was Director of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management for multi-divisional / International Marine Industry-leading custom specialty boat & watercraft trailer manufacturer, Eagle Trailer, a 4Sea Corporation company. Tom is currently an active member of AUSA, CEMA, NDIA, and NTSA. Tom has served in his current role at Kentucky Trailer since 2011.
