Bill has been making professionally for over 25 years, exhibiting and selling both nationally and internationally. In the past he has specialised in domestic stoneware, porcelain and raku, predominantly thrown but also including fun hand built sculptural pieces... Alongside his making Bill also discovered a love of teaching - particularly the joy of teaching students to throw pots on the wheel. In 2010 he founded Clayabilty a popular pottery school in North Somerset offering a range of courses. Many of his students have gone on to become professional makers, with one starring in the first series of The Great British Throw Down!... Bill Moore is a professional potter and teacher based in North Somerset. His current focus is on making contemporary stoneware - including bespoke tableware for Mark McCabe, Head Chef at The Ethicurean restaurant and contestant on Great British Menu 2023.
