MONTGOMERY VINEYARD

Montgomery Wines is a small family-owned business producing very limited quantities of estate grown wines from our vineyard in the Calistoga AVA of Napa Valley... For many years a small home on fifty acres of land in Calistoga, near the northern end of Napa Valley, served as a kind of retreat for our young family. The property included beautiful rocky hills, a self-contained valley, a charming old barn, and a small lake at the far end. We had goats, horses and sheep grazing our hillside, and when our hay crop was harvested, our family played softball and soccer on the field. The property has served as wonderful family gathering place, and we have enjoyed swimming, row-boating, and fishing for bass on the lake. Between 2004 and 2006, we built a new home and a caretaker's house, remodeled the barn, and relandscaped the property around our home.
