Andrew Lopez

For over 9 years Andrew has been supporting federal and commercial markets with innovative and cutting edge technology solutions to help organizations grow and maintain effective control of their operations. Able to diagnose operational gaps and technological pitfalls, he is able to provide a range of value driven IT solutions that are customized to the needs of the client. He received his Bachelor of English and Philosophy from John Carroll University and currently lives in the D.C. Metro area where he originally grew up. He continues to work daily to support federal agencies with the latest IT solutions on the market.

Christopher Scott

Christopher is a software engineer based in San Diego, CA. He has 5 years of experience working with 5G technologies, previously working at Qualcomm working in the Modem department doing work on their SnapDragon flagship chip. There he had a focus on 5G radio frequencies including SUB6 and MMW, and their involvement in Inter Radio Access Technology (IRAT). Chris is excited to bring his 5G expertise and experience to the ObjectSecurity team, and exploring how to reimagine the cross-section between 5G, AI, and cybersecurity. In his spare time Chris enjoys watching sports, playing games, and traveling.

Dr. Hud Wahab

Dr. Hud Wahab, a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Object Security LLC, earned his PhD in Physics from the University of New South Wales in 2018. With over a decade of experience analyzing the electromagnetic spectrum, he has collaborated internationally with NASA Marshall, the Australian Synchrotron, BESSY II (Berlin) particle accelerator, Idaho National Lab, and DOE Ames Laboratory, showcasing fluency in English, German, and Malay. Dr. Wahab specializes in AI materials science and engineering, deploying innovative algorithms for accelerated materials discovery and self-driving labs. His electromagnetic radiation expertise spans from soft X-rays to infrared radiation, and he has broadened his focus at Object Security to encompass radio communications analysis-from Terahertz and millimeter-wave to 5G (sub-6GHz) regions. Beyond his technical contributions, Dr. Wahab leverages his belief in blockchain security to help pioneer a decentralized limit orderbook product. Furthermore, he enjoys landscape photography and chases auroras in his spare time.

Holmes Chuang

Over the last 25+ years as in principal and senior software engineering roles, Holmes has worked on many products and solutions, ranging from artificial intelligence (AI), hardware focused software (e.g. for Motorola), mobile device applications, big data applications, AV/multimedia etc. He has managed international projects from beginning to completion, and has worked on both front-ends and backends. His work in artificial intelligence (AI) around noise-cancellation has earned him an IEEE Chester Sall award in 1993. One of his strong verticals is health IT, where he has worked on intelligent big data analytics, including pattern matching of streaming healthcare data from an FDA audited medical device attached to a mobile device and processed by a cloud backend. Holmes is currently the main developer on an intelligent supply chain risk analytics solution we are developing for a customer.

Jason Kramer

Jason Kramer is a Software Research Engineer at ObjectSecurity, where he is dedicated to advancing the state of the art in secure and robust AI. With a bachelor's degree in computer science from San Diego State University, he is focused on ensuring trust, security, privacy, bias, and robustness of AI/ML models. Jason has led the development efforts of a commercial solution for the detection and repair of vulnerabilities in deep learning systems, and the co-author of multiple patents related to the cybersecurity of systems including AI/ML, embedded devices, supply chain, and others. His passion for improving the field has driven him to push the boundaries of what is possible and make a meaningful impact in the fields of AI and cybersecurity.

Reza Fatahi

Reza works on software architecture, application design, and AI, mainly for VAPTBOX and SCRAMS. He previously developed, redesigned and improved numerous products and solutions across various industries, incl. financial tech, health insurance tech, secure medical cloud, automotive, motion pictures, and others. For the last 10+ years, Reza was involved in full-stack principal and senior software engineering roles. He has a PhD (University of Connecticut / NIH T32 Fellowship) in Biomedical Science, and was also the lead collaborator and project manager with Daimler AG's development of next generation supply chain solutions. His deep understanding of medical science, clinical medicine, and supply chain industries is actively applied in ObjectSecurity's SCRAMS. Reza wrote his first program in BASIC on the Intel 80386 at the age of 12. Life sciences and medicine were passions he pursued in his young adult life. Upon finishing his training fellowship from the National Institutes of Health, he decided to make computing a full time career. He also served with the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Cpl (E3) in the 2nd 23rd Marines.

Stephen Brennan

Stephen joined ObjectSecurity in October 2023 as a Python Engineering Intern. His primary task as an intern was testing a variety of ML models with AITRUST toolsets. Stephen graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Mathematics-Computer Science. While at UCSD he was an Academic Coach for PATHs, a scholarship program designed for underrepresented students and the unique challenges they face in university environments. He also worked for the entomology department at UC Riverside, specializing in computational analysis of social insect DNA. Outside of school, Stephen worked as a junior real estate appraiser and has a deep passion for real estate markets and investing. He hopes to continue building his knowledge in the areas of computational statistics and machine learning to better understand the complex economic relationships underlying real estate markets and global trade. His hobbies include hiking/camping, kickboxing and (dreaming about) tracking a K-swapped Lotus Exige.

Susan Farrell

Susan is the Head of Research and Development Commercialization of ObjectSecurity. Her successes in solution ideation to product launch to a public offering are applied to bridge ObjectSecurity product development to commercialization.

Trevor Thomas

Trevor joined ObjectSecurity as an intern in May 2021, where he re-envisioned and developed an updated version of the easySCRAMS user interface. He then created a new version of the internal company task management system; improving employee workflow by focusing on practicality, collaboration, and elegance. Before his time at ObjectSecurity, Trevor worked as a software developer for IT Action Inc, where we re-imagined and rewrote their task management system as well. In his free time, Trevor has developed multiple web applications, including Catinal (a game where users all over the globe compete to take care of a cat), and Arpegg.io (a multi-platform music player that doesn't hog your RAM). He will be graduating with a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering from UC San Diego in December 2021, and enjoys web development, computer networking, and exploring the intersection of software and art.

Ulrich Lang - CEO, Founder

Ulrich received his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory (Security Group) on conceptual aspects of middleware security in 2003 (sponsored by the UK Defence and Evaluation Research Agency (DERA), after having completed a Master's Degree (M. Sc.) in Information Security with distinction from Royal Holloway College (University of London) in 1997. On the management side, Ulrich has recently completed a Business Marketing Strategy course at the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). Ulrich is a renowned visionary entrepreneur and thought leader in cybersecurity (incl. model-driven security, access control policy, and application platform security), big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and virtual/augmented reality. He is currently working on an intelligent big-data supply chain risk analytics solution, and numerous projects around policy automation and policy testing. He is on the Board of Directors of the Cloud Security Alliance (Silicon Valley Chapter) and is a technical expert witness. He is responsible for the development of the OpenPMF user interface, policy automation and testing features. Ulrich runs the U.S. office in sunny San Diego, CA - and sometimes finds the time to play his sax.
