Hi! I'm Jessica O'Bryan. I'm the owner and managing director of Plainsong Enterprises. I've been running a successful small business for the last 12 years, mostly in teaching, consulting, and research. Plainsong Enterprises recently went through a transition and now teaching is no longer part of the business. I'm in the process of changing identities, which includes changing the focus of the business to be more about consulting, writing and editing... Unfortunately this is the very nature of casual work, and the School is required to apply appropriate diligence to ensure we don't over/under pay our casual staff. We also have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure we don't pay for work that has not been completed, nor pay for the same work twice.
