S C O T S BOTS TEAM 4776

We are currently working on a number of outreach programs, such as starting FIRST Tech Challenge teams at our community middle schools, Parker Middle School and Highlander Way Middle School, as well as the possibility of us broadening the Robotics Team into a Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics Club, or STEM Club, which would allow us to have members participate a variety of different events such as Science Olympiad, FTC, FRC, SAE, and other events under one large club that is widely recognized by the community and sustainable. We are also hosting a district competition here in Howell during the upcoming 2014 FRC season. In addition, we are planning a number of community presentations, demonstrations, and workshops throughout the summer to keep the team busy and help create a wider interest in FIRST throughout Howell and Livingston County...
