She has public affiliation with Monash Health. Dr Andi Alipoor spent one year of her training as a clinical research fellow at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne on Type 1 diabetes and technology. She is a member of Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and US Endocrine Society. Dr Andi Alipoor has experience in broad range of endocrine disorders including Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes), Thyroid disorders, Osteoporosis, Parathyroid and calcium disorders, Pituitary disorders, Lipid metabolism, Obesity and weight management, adrenal gland disorders and reproductive endocrinology including menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Anthony graduated from Monash University with Honours and subsequently completed specialist training in endocrinology through Monash and Austin Health. His PhD and post-doctoral research has focussed on the clinical and cost-effectiveness of technologies in the management of type 1 diabetes and predicting long-term health outcomes.

Dr. Chin Yao Tan

Dr. Chin Tan is a graduate of Melbourne University and trained through Austin Health. He subsequently completed his specialist training in endocrinology at Monash Health and was admitted as a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr. Tan completed his bachelor of medical science by undertaking research in insulin treatment therapy at Stanford University, California USA. Dr. Tan has a keen interest in general endocrinology and has a commitment to continuing education and excellence in clinical care. He has been actively involved in medical undergraduate teaching and supervision of endocrinology advanced trainees and residents. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Tan is a staff specialist at Monash Health and Peninsula Health. Dr. Tan is a consultant endocrinologist at Monash Health, with appointments in the Endocrinology Clinic and in charge of the Diabetes Oncology Clinic. He is also the Endocrine ward service consultant at Peninsula Health. Dr. Tan has admission rights at St John of God Berwick, Valley Private, and Waverley Private Hospital. He is the founder and principal associate of Southeast Endocrine Associates.

Dr. Henry Wong

He completed his Endocrinology training at Austin Health and Monash Health. He was admitted into the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2018. Dr. Wong has a keen interest in all areas of Endocrinology including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal disease, osteoporosis, men's health and metabolic syndrome. He is a staff specialist at Peninsula Health and Northern Health, and is involved with teaching junior medical staff and undergraduate medical students. Dr. Jimmy Shen is a graduate of the University of Melbourne (MBBS) and completed advanced training in diabetes and endocrinology at Flinders Medical Centre (SA) and Monash Health (VIC). Dr. Shen was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physician (FRACP) in 2011. Dr. Shen subsequently pursued a higher degree (PhD) involving scientific research in the field of the mineralocorticoid receptor and cardiovascular endocrinology through the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and Monash University. He is a past recipient of the RACP scholarship and the Australian Postgraduate Award and has recently completed his dissertation. Dr. Shen has a clinical interest in general endocrinology, with special interests in endocrine hypertension, general thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, and gestational diabetes. He has been actively involved in the teaching and supervision of endocrinology advanced trainees and residents at Monash Health. Dr. Shen is a consultant endocrinologist at Monash Health, with appointments in the general Endocrinology Clinic, Thyroid Clinic, and Gestational Diabetes Clinic.

Dr. Madhuni Herath

Dr Madhuni Herath graduated from Monash University and completed her physician training through Monash Health. She then completed her specialist training in Endocrinology through Royal Hobart Hospital (TAS) and Monash Health (VIC) and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr Herath is currently completing a Fellowship in Clinical Andrology at Monash Health, gaining further subspecialty experience in men's health including problems with testosterone, male infertility and caring for men receiving androgen deprivation therapy for prostate cancer. She has a keen interest in medical education, and teaches medical students at Monash Health. She is also involved in a number research projects at Monash Health investigating osteoporosis and bone health in younger adults. Dr Herath welcomes referrals for all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology, including osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, men's, women's and transgender health, thyroid and parathyroid problems, pituitary conditions, adrenal disease and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Navira Samad

Dr Navira Samad received her medical degree from Sindh Medical University in Pakistan and completed her clinical training in Melbourne, Victoria. She underwent basic physician training at Monash Health and went on to complete dual specialist training in Endocrinology and General Medicine through Monash Health (VIC) and Peninsula Health. She is now a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and works as an Endocrinologist at Monash Health and Victorian Heart Hospital. Hilda Lee

Hilda graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours from Monash University. Since then she has worked in clinics all across Melbourne, and has helped many patients from various ages and cultural backgrounds in improving their diet, health and wellbeing.

Hilda Yan

Hilda specialises in weight management and diabetes. Her interest in food in weight management stems from personal experience struggling with her weight since childhood. Since becoming a dietitian she has found the balance in enjoying physical health, whilst still being able to enjoy her favourite foods and the social aspect of food. She is passionate about using her own past experiences, combined with her extensive training, work experience and the latest scientific evidence to assist her patients to have a healthy lifestyle without restriction and guilt. Hilda's interest in diabetes developed from volunteering at Diabetes Victoria camps for participants with Type 1 Diabetes, and from working with endocrinologists and diabetes educators in this area. Hilda is also able to consult in Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside of work, Hilda enjoys sitting down with a good coffee and a book, doing weights training at the gym and volunteering in her local community.
