Sunbeam was founded in Varanasi in 1972 by Dr. Amrit Lal ‘Ishrat' Madhok, HOD, Dept. of Persian Language, BHU and Mrs. Deesh's Ishrat' Madhok, an educationist armed with her experience of heading Indian Embassy School, Tehran.
