Anne joined British Triathlon in March 2018. She qualified with CIMA twenty years ago starting her career in Agriculture. She then moved to work in Shared Services across Europe, returning to the UK and the insurance industry, before completing her Corporate career in the Financial Services sector. Despite being an enthusiastic volunteer at various Triathlon events she has still resisted the urge to don a wetsuit and prefers to be a professional supporter instead!

Ben Cummings

Ben joined British Triathlon in September 2018 overseeing the commercial and major event portfolio. Ben has spent his career working in sport across public affairs, community engagement, marketing, sponsorship and commercial development. He has extensive experience working for agencies, brands and governing bodies in the UK, Middle East, Far East and North America. Ben has been involved with the ITU World Triathlon Series since 2012 both with leading sports marketing agencies, blue chip sponsors and rights holders. He is passionate about endurance and multisport and the power of sport to benefit society and communities.

Halima has worked within the field of sport development for the past 14 years and has extensive experience of championing diversity and inclusion in sport from a grassroots to strategic level. Halima has worked with various sporting bodies, advising on how to engage diverse communities into sport. She brings experience from her previous roles at Sporting Equals, Rugby Football League, Yorkshire Sport Foundation, and Bradford Council Sports Development. She currently works as a Relationship Manager for the Badminton England. Halima has also worked with Bermuda Cricket as a strategic advisor in developing their women and girls programme and, is also founder and Director of Opening Boundaries, a not-for-profit organisation which promotes sporting initiatives to campaign for equality and peace around the globe.

Craig Pollard

Craig works in a Fortune 100 technology company, leading a high-growth consumer hardware, software and subscription services business. Craig has more than two decades experience in world-leading tech companies. He is passionate about using his commercial knowledge and experience to help more people discover and enjoy triathlon. Craig first took part in a triathlon in 2015, has since completed multiple long distance triathlons and is a member of the Serpentine Club in London.

Debbie Clarke

Debbie got involved in her first triathlon in 2009 after supporting a friend in a super sprint triathlon. She has since progressed to be an Age Group athlete at a range of distance and disciplines and is passionate about supporting novices into the sport. Debbie is a club member of Serpentine in London always proud to wear the red and gold club kit. She has been Chairman of the London Region Committee for Triathlon England for two years having previously been Vice Chairman for a year. She really enjoys chairing the committee, working with so many different people who are all passionate about the development of the sport. Debbie is also a run leader for a small running charity helping support homeless women build up their confidence and meet new friends through sport. She also supports Crisis and works within their women's centre over the Christmas period. When not out training or racing Debbie runs her own consultancy providing strategic business advice to SME shareholders and boards.

Helen Marney

Helen Marney took on her role as Director of Development at the end of 2019 having previously held the role of Director of Development at Yorkshire Sport Foundation, responsible for shaping vision, strategy, and leading on developing new partnerships to increase activity levels across the county. As a junior and at university, Helen competed in Karate and has taken the first steps into triathlon since joining the organisation.

Jamie Gordon

Jamie became hooked on triathlons several years ago when entered by a friend into a sprint triathlon, after too many years of sitting on a sofa. Since that first event, Jamie has taken part in many triathlons all over the world. Since retirement from ‘completing' triathlons, he can be seen most weekends at events, across the country, in his role as a Technical Official. Jamie is also on the East Midlands Regional Committee, a post he finds both interesting and challenging at times and has recently rejoined the board of Triathlon England and is the Chair of World Triathlon's Audit, Risk and Integrity Committee. When not involved in triathlon, Jamie runs a successful firm of Independent Financial Planners and looks forward to bringing his experience to help our triathlon family grow and to enjoy their Swim, Bike and Run experiences.

Kevin Currell

Kevin is Triathlon England's Independent Non-Executive Director - Talent Development and Senior Independent Director Kevin is also Director of Science at the English Institute of Sport, where he oversees the delivery of science services to Olympic and Paralympic sports and is part of the senior leadership team. Prior to this, he was a performance nutritionist for a number of Olympic sports including British Triathlon, GB Canoeing, GB Short Track and British Athletics. Kevin acted as the performance nutritionist for the British Triathlon team across the Beijing and London Olympic Games, with his personal highlight being the men's races at Hyde Park in 2012. Kevin has completed a number of triathlons himself, including two Ironman distance events. He's currently using his spare time to try and master golf and the guitar.

Kirsten Fasey

Kirsten joined British Triathlon in February 2021 leading on organisational development and governance before becoming Director of People and Culture in December 2021. Kirsten was a lawyer for twenty years before embarking on a second career in organisational development. Her recent PhD, the first to explore organisational resilience in elite sport, ignited a passion for supporting the collaborative development of individuals and teams, and creating the right environments for people to thrive. Having had what can kindly be called a mixed history in triathlon events of all distances, Kirsten still loves to swim, bike, and run, just not necessarily all on the same day.

Lesley is a successful Certified Accountant with over 30 years of experience in predominantly Social Housing and Housebuilding as a senior finance professional. She is also passionate about sport having played and coached hockey at international level. Lesley still enjoys playing and coaching hockey at local club level and volunteers at Battersea Cats & Dogs home.

Mike Cavendish

Mike joined British Triathlon in September 2018, having worked in athletics since the 2008 Beijing Olympic/Paralympic Games. With a background in physiology, Mike's role in athletics was responsible for delivering Olympic and Paralympic World Class Programme strategy and operations through the London, Rio and early part of the Tokyo Cycles. As Director of Performance, Mike leads a large Performance team of coaches, science/medicine practitioners and operational staff (encompassing both the Talent and Olympic/Paralympic World Class Programmes) with the ultimate aim of developing Elite triathletes who can be successful on the global stage. Mike will lead the Olympic and Paralympic Teams to Tokyo where British Triathletes hope to improve on their medal haul from Rio.

Neil Cooper

Neil is a retired high ranking police officer and now inspects police forces as part of His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabularies and Fire and Rescue Services. Neil spent 30 years as a police officer working across the country and overseas. He was a senior investigating officer leading investigations into serious crimes. He now reports on how well police forces give a service to victims of crime. Neil has over three decades of experience coaching a variety of sports including triathlon. He is a coach educator, and has carried out a number of roles for his local triathlon club such as chair and head coach. He has still found time to complete a few long course triathlons himself.

Nikki Phillips

Nikki joined British Triathlon in January 2023 to oversee the organisations Marketing, Communications and Digital infrastructure. She has experience in the fitness and leisure industry having been Head of Digital at Be Military Fit and both Marketing Implementation Manager and Global Sales Manager Development Manager at Les Mills International.

Richard Mostyn-Jones

Richard competed in his first triathlon in 2009 and has since raced in sprint, standard and long distance events. He has had multiple race starts for the GB Age-Group Team and in 2019 secured gold at the European Long Distance Aquabike Championships in Romania. Alongside his triathlon interests, Richard teaches karate, is a keen skier and a busy family man with three daughters. Professionally, Richard has held a number of executive roles in various businesses and is currently CEO of an online consumer business.

Ruth Daniels - CEO

Ruth became CEO of British Triathlon in February 2024. Sport has been important throughout Ruth's life; swimming, horse-riding, playing netball and hockey and then moving to various gym activities, culminating in her current love of open water swimming and the occasional triathlon when her knees allow! Ruth is passionate about the role sport plays in society - never has the need to inspire, support and facilitate an active nation been greater. Its role in developing leadership skills and future leaders has been a keen interest for Ruth, in particular its impact on girls and women. She joined us following an extensive successful commercial career, most recently at Superdry plc, bringing fresh insight and skills and strong values-led leadership. Ruth is also the CEO of Triathlon England and a Trustee of the Triathlon Trust.
