Alex is a detail-led operations management professional and liaises directly with stakeholders at all levels to obtain mutually beneficial outcomes. He runs Newhall's production, fulfilment and handling services and is experienced in minimising delivery times to customers in conjunction with other campaign planning. He specialises in ensuring all aspects of each campaign deliver closely controlled quality targets.

Alison has a background in generating high advertising revenue for respected companies and brands. A skilled and effective communicator with a warm, genuine and good-humoured approach, Alison enjoys building relationships with clients based on a common interest in business development. Key areas of experience include, but are not limited to, the education sector and food and drink market.

Amanda manages our Customer Relationship Team, as well as our customers and clients emails and telephone calls. She also collects and sends payments through our CRM System Myriad.

Anita is a highly experienced editor, commissioning features, overseeing a number of our key client titles, including Candis magazine, and photoshoots.
With a real eye for detail, Anita played an integral part in the launch of several successful new titles. She is skilled in producing relevant, accurate and engaging content in an ever-changing industry. Anita also edits and proofreads all pages through the several stages of production.
Likes: Eating out, cooking (especially if she can spend the whole day in the kitchen) and the perfect gin and tonic.
Bev answers the telephone to our Candis members and opens and processes Candis competitions. She also replies to members' queries by email. If she ever has any spare time, she helps out with jobs in dispatch.

Carl manages all aspects of health and safety, maintains the building and gardens, liaises with contractors and sets up and takes down the Newhall sets at shows.
Christine ensures we all keep our feet on the ground - which is no mean feat with so much enthusiasm coming from all quarters. For the last 22 years, as a director of Newhall, Christine has safeguarded the business and, working with the other directors, maintained profitability, ensuring the business remains true to the Company's values.

With a career in publishing that stretches back over 20 years, Dave has undertaken a variety of roles at the front line of publishing's digital revolution. During that time he has seen ‘the internet' develop from a clear and present threat to print publishing, to the essential companion it has become today. Dave enjoys working closely with clients to fully understand and achieve their strategic objectives, and loves nothing more than delivering a win-win solution.
Likes Dave is a long suffering Tranmere Rovers supporter and is currently up to 76 in his mission to visit all 92 league football grounds in the country. He enjoys spending quality time with his kids and supporting them in their passions, and can occasionally be found becoming frustrated on a golf course.
Fergus loves working closely with clients to produce publications that everyone in the Newhall team can be proud of. He says he gets immense satisfaction from starting out with a simple chat with a client over ideas and developing them into fully fledged features, and ultimately, finished projects that land on his desk months later. Fergus admits that none of this would be possible were it not for the fantastic team at Newhall, adding that working across such a varied portfolio encourages the constant development of process and knowledge and always keeps him on his toes.
Likes Outside work, Fergus enjoys bouldering and rock climbing with his daughter, who is as comfortable watching a movie on the sofa as she is ten metres up a wall hanging from a rope!
With over 20 years of experience within the publishing industry, Gareth has a passion for editorial design, both in print and digital. Gareth thoroughly enjoys being Creative Director at Newhall, last year he also took on the role of the Employee Trustee Director of the Newhall Employee Owned Trust. This enables him to represent the interest of his colleagues at board level, a responsibility he is delighted to have been appointed.
Gareth is hands-on in all creative processes, conceiving and implementing client concepts, branding, design strategies and overseeing them to completion. Having such a diverse client base presents a new challenge every day, Gareth is proud to be part of such a creative hard working team of like-minded people.
Gary Turner - Chief Commercial Officer
Gary is an expert in publishing, retail and trade sales, with extensive knowledge of the country and outdoor sector. He loves people and engaging with all internal departments and Newhall's valued customers. Gary enjoys the diverse nature of Newhall's client portfolio, which takes the company into a huge variety of markets and industries and means no two projects or days are the same.

Gaynor says that the best thing about her job is making sure everybody is paid on time and correctly. She loves to see the smiles when she delivers the payslips. She admits that it may seem a bit old-fashioned, and that she should probably e-mail them, but thinks it's a nice touch for staff to receive a payslip personally. On the HR side, Gaynor takes pleasure in knowing everybody is happy in their job, but if not, likes to think people can approach her for a chat, work-related or not, and anything they say will be completely confidential.
Likes Living on a narrowboat with her husband and their pet praying mantis, Kevin. Gill enjoys crocheting and paper crafts and is trying to get back into sewing, although she is not convinced she will ever be able to make something that fits Kevin…

Greg is a highly experienced writer, journalist and editor with a passion for delivering exceptional content across all platforms. In a career spanning more than 30 years, he has edited a variety of newspapers, consumer magazines, business titles and content hubs, and believes all media, no matter what the project or platform, should be focused on the audience as well as the message. Greg likes the fact that at Newhall, we never lose sight of who we're talking to or how we want them to feel and firmly believes storytelling is the key - that everyone has a story and bringing it to life with verve and imagination is the best part of the job.

Heather is an award-winning, multimedia advertising executive, experienced in selling across a wide range of sectors. She likes to take a professional yet friendly approach and to deliver quality customer service to advertisers. What she absolutely loves about her job at Newhall is seeing the finished product for the client - she says it makes her feel really proud to be part of the process.
Likes Heather loves to sing in her spare time and enjoys beach walks with her dog and pottering in the garden!
Holly's background is in digital marketing and events management with a strong focus on managing social media accounts for different businesses. She also have a passion for volunteering, raising money and doing charity work and have worked with Claire House, St John's Hospice and The Hive Youth Zone in the past.
Jasmine really enjoys speaking to people and building professional relationships, supported by her background of B2B telesales and commercial real estate. She feels motivated by the different projects and switching between a variety of clientele, while learning all about them and their business. She is eager to progress and develop her skills within media sales.
Julie reports to the Finance Director, Christine Blackford, working closely with her assistant Lindsey Hobley and overseeing all aspects of Newhall's accounts and the day-to-day running of the finance department. She has worked at Newhall for many years and is a valued member of the team. This is such a lovely, family-friendly company to work for, she says.
Kayleigh is an experienced editor and sub-editor, having previously worked on a variety of consumer magazines. She enjoys working with Newhall's clients and her colleagues to create excellent products, and is proud of everything we produce. She is inspired by Newhall's wide-ranging portfolio, as it makes every day different and gives her the opportunity to keep learning new things.
The part of her job Kim enjoys the most is speaking to people and helping them to profile their business further via the various sales platforms and projects that Newhall currently works on and delivers. She loves learning about their businesses and understanding them more - and finding a solution that works for them is her biggest reward. Every day is different, says Kim, and she thrives on that.
Likes Kim loves the great outdoors and recently started to cold-water dip, which she was assured is good for you. She's not convinced but loves the exhilaration. She also likes planning trips away and making memories.
Laura works in the customer services department at Newhall and has been an employee at the company for 21 years. Her daily work can range from answering calls from Candis members and balancing card payments to packing for The Pony Club, The Land Trust or for events.
A lot of Lindsay's job involves designing creative concepts for clients. She says she loves building on ideas from scratch and working as part of a team to produce beautiful end products.
Likes Lindsay is crazy about her three cats. She plays the piano, as well as playing percussion in an orchestra. She is currently having golf lessons but has yet to be allowed on to an actual course!

Lindsey assists Newhall's Management Accountant, Julie Shaw, in the day-to-day running of the accounts department. She enjoys the variety of her job, but also the routine and discipline of an accounts role. Lindsey left the Newhall family in 2014 when she moved to another country, but we were more than happy to ask her back in 2020 when she returned to the UK.
Maria has been involved in the advertising/publishing industry for over 35 years, selling advertising opportunities into many high-profile publications.
What she loves about her job is that no two days are the same, talking with so many people from a wide variety of industries, building relationships by working with clients to help raise their company profile and of course get those all important results.

Olivia works as a researcher and writer on a diverse client portfolio, which, she says, always keeps things fresh and interesting. She finds it fascinating to learn about a lot of different topics, sectors and industries from the people most passionate about them - and says that bringing these stories to life on the page, in the beautifully curated end-product, makes the work feel even more impactful.
As a key member of the design and creative team, Owen work across all clients and projects, taking on new responsibilities as and when required. He is able to produce high-quality design consistently across all projects, always with attention to detail.

Peter completes all fulfilment obligations for Newhall's publications and events within the deadlines, and carries out all internal printing, stock maintenance and event packaging. At risk of sounding weird, Peter admits to liking deadlines and the buzz of getting loads done. He says every day presents different problems that need new solutions or ways of completing an objective, and that he gets to dip his toe into every department, which is always fun and interesting!
Likes If it's a sport, he'll play it! If it's edible, he'll cook it! If it's an animal, he'll love it!
As a data handling and analysis specialist, Peter has more than 20 years' experience within the industry, constructing and managing CRM membership and subscription databases with transaction volumes exceeding 8 million each year. Peter's in-depth knowledge allows him to manage the technical requirements of implementations ranging from small scale projects to monthly 300,000+ fulfilment exercises. Peter also plays a key part in investigating new technological breakthroughs that may advance or add value to our service range.
Richard became Managing Director in January 2022 when Newhall became an employee owned business. As an accomplished marketing and business development director, Richard has more than 28 years' experience driving profitable publishing and marketing initiatives, business development and the promotion of events and membership organisations. Richard has that rare ability to build lasting partnerships with clients who recognise and appreciate his outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills, his boundless creativity and his refreshing, no-nonsense approach.
Robyn originally joined Newhall as an apprentice on the digital-marketing team. Since then, she has also worked on the picture desk, presenting creative solutions to image challenges. She now creates multi-platform social-media campaigns around all Newhall projects, building social engagement on different channels. She also manages email campaigns across Newhall's membership publications to keep content alive between print issues, promote brands and encourage subscriptions. In her job, she says, she loves everything social!
Sally's job involves connecting with people and working hard to nurture those connections. The role of Content Editor is diverse, which, she says, suits her well because every day is different. Sally could be writing a feature one day, compiling book reviews the next and liaising with PRs to source great offers and prizes the next, and in all of this, she says, communication is the name of the game!Likes Sally likes to read a LOT of fiction, all genres considered! She also loves to socialise with friends and family, dining out whenever possible, and to go for very long walks in Wales, as well as getting active with swimming, Zumba and Boogie Bounce!

Steve is a no-nonsense, totally committed individual with over 40 years' experience in the print and graphics industry. He works closely with the design/editorial departments to produce high-quality cut-outs, perform retouching and image manipulation for all print and online material, and recreate illustrations, logos and vector graphics to a high standard. He designs client adverts to spec, pre-flight checks all ‘paid-for' ads, troubleshoots errors, manages the ad-production process and produces web-optimised ezines for all Newhall publications.
Sue oversees the daily operation of all customer-service activity, managing over 7,000 calls each month. Her team show exceptional attention to detail and are praised for their interpersonal skills and consistently high level of customer feedback. Sue has also been central to the development and running of Newhall's subscription systems for more than ten years. Her in-depth understanding of customer campaigns, both large and small, as well as data handling, is integral to delivering value to clients. She says she enjoys that you never know what each day will bring…
Likes Going to the theatre, big or small, comedy or tragedy - Tracey enjoys it all. She is also not averse to eating out and likes live music, small venues being her preference.
