Except for the air we breathe, water is the single most important element in our lives. The ECWA is committed to educating its customers and the general public about water. In the following pages, you can learn about everything from how your water is treated and used to how to conserve one of the earth's most precious natural resources... In accordance with its Enabling Statute and other applicable laws, ECWA maintains an open vendor policy, and welcome any and all potential bidders and contractors responding to requests for bids or proposals. We encourage purchases from vendors included on the contract lists of the County of Erie and the State of New York Office of General Services. Minority and Women Owned Businesses certified by the County of Erie and the State of New York are also encouraged to bid.
