Allison H. Guice

Allison Guice joined Jackson Thornton in 2006. During her tenure with our CPA firm, she provided business valuation and tax consulting/estate planning services to clients throughout the Southeast. In 2019, Allison joined Jackson Thornton Asset Management as a financial advisor. Allison currently serves on the board of directors for Meals on Wheels Montgomery AL Metro Area, Alabama Christian Academy, and Aid to Inmate Mothers. She is a past president of the Jackson Thornton Young Professionals group, a graduate of Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class XXXIV, a founding member of the Child Protect Junior Executive Board and a past board member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council. Allison was selected as the 2014 AICPA/ASCPA Women to Watch - Emerging Leader. She holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the ASCPA. In addition to being a CPA, Allison holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. She is a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Shaw Pritchett is a principal and financial advisor with Jackson Thornton Asset Management (JTAM) where he helps clients solve complex financial matters and assists them in meeting their financial goals. Prior to joining JTAM, Pritchett provided accounting and tax services to owners of closely held businesses for more than 20 years. Shaw is involved in a number of community and professional organizations. Over the years, he has served on the boards of several organizations including the Huntingdon College National Alumni Association, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), Macon East Academy, Child Protect, the Alabama National Fair and the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery Foundation. Shaw holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the ASCPA. He is a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of Huntingdon College, where he was a member of the 1992 National Championship golf team and was selected as an NAIA All-American. Shaw was inducted into the Huntingdon College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.

Daniel K. Tew

For almost 15 years, Daniel Tew provided tax and consulting services to owners of small businesses and high net worth individuals. In addition, he worked closely with the firm's Employee Benefit plan practice. In 2020, Daniel joined Jackson Thornton Asset Management and advises clients on wealth management strategies and planning. In addition to being a CPA, Daniel also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. He holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), where he is past president of the Dothan chapter. He also currently serves as an associate member of the state board of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) as well as vice chairman of the AGC - Dothan section. Daniel is a past chair of the board of the Dothan Area Young Professionals as well as having served as treasurer for the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center and chairman and treasurer of the Geneva County Board of Wiregrass United Way. He is also a former board of trustee member of Wiregrass United Way and a current member of the Dothan Rotary Club. Daniel currently serves on the finance committee of Covenant Methodist Church. He is a graduate of the 2016 class of Leadership Dothan and was recently selected as one of the "Top 40 Under 40 in Commercial Construction" by the Alabama AGC and Business Alabama. Daniel received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his MBA from Troy University.

For more than 10 years, Adam Causey provided tax and consulting services for closely held businesses and individuals. He joined Jackson Thornton Asset Management in 2014 where he advises clients on wealth management strategies and planning. In addition to being a CPA, Adam also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. Adam also serves as JTAM's Chief Compliance Officer. Adam is a past president of the Jackson Thornton Young Professionals group and a former board member for the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. He served as Treasurer of EMERGE, a program of Leadership Montgomery. Adam is also a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of XXXII and a former member of the Auburn University Alumni Association Board. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University Montgomery and was named Outstanding Young Alumnus by their College of Business in 2016. Justin K. Clark

Justin Clark joined Jackson Thornton Asset Management (JTAM) in 2022 as an advisor in our Opelika office. Prior to joining JTAM, Clark was a partner in an Auburn-based real estate development company providing consulting services to a variety of clients, ranging from commercial single tenant properties to multi-family properties. In addition, he managed day-to-day operations of the business from leading business development efforts to accounting and financial operations to client and vendor relations. Clark also has a CPA firm background where he provided accounting and assurance, transaction advisory, and consulting services to a wide range of industries including real estate and construction, financial services, and manufacturing. In addition, Clark lead that firm's recruiting efforts for their Montgomery and Mobile offices and served on their Executive Committee and Emerging Executive Committee. Clark is a Leadership Montgomery graduate and former treasurer, served as treasurer of Bridge Builders of Alabama, was active in the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, and served as a board member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Troy University. Clark also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Kim Mason

Originally from Ft. Worth, Texas, Kim has worked with Jackson Thornton since 2002. As a portfolio advisor, Kim assists with portfolio management and also acts as a relationship specialist with many clients. She specializes in retirement projections and social security optimization strategies. Kim is also a professional actor, having traveled with a theatre company for more than 10 years early in her career. She continues to be involved in community theatre - both as an actor and a director.

Nancy M. Brown

Nancy M. Brown is a principal in the firm's Montgomery office and has more than 25 years of experience providing accounting and auditing with a concentration in employee benefit plans. In 2012, she joined Jackson Thornton Asset Management as an investment advisor to consult with retirement plan clients. She is a Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class XXXIX member and volunteers as a Vietnamese interpreter for the Autauga, Elmore and Montgomery county public school systems. Brown is a CPA and has earned the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist), RPA (Retirement Plans Associate) and GBA (Group Benefits Associate) designations through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She has also earned the PPC™ (Professional Plan Consultant) designation, having specialized knowledge of retirement plan compliance requirements, common plan services and plan administration. She also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. Brown received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.

Thomas B. Bedsole

Raised in Dothan, Alabama, Tommy Bedsole was pleased to be one of the initial employees staffing the Dothan office when Jackson Thornton opened its doors in Dothan in 1981. Utilizing his experience working with individuals and closely held small businesses in the construction and agriculture industries, Tommy became an investment advisor representative with Jackson Thornton Asset Management in 2007. He serves clients throughout the Wiregrass area along with clients in neighboring states. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation. Tommy is a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, and he has been active in area youth sports through the Dothan National League. He held the office of treasurer for these organizations for many years. In addition, he currently serves on the Advisory Board for Troy University Dothan and served on the Boys Club board. Tommy holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Tommy is a graduate of Troy State University and has been inducted into the Troy University Accounting Department Hall of Honor in recognition of professional success and long-term contributions to his profession.
