He also holds the keys to the petty cash box, only to be opened for milk, office cakes and the occasional ice cream. • Director, Money Man, Former England Bowler & Arch Nemesis to Pictionary
Alan Jeffery Director, money man, former England bowler & arch nemesis to Pictionary ‘Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves' you will often hear Alan say. Someone's got to finance Matt's ambitions and Alan has been doing that for years. Alan is the richest man in Brightulb, holding the purse strings for our successful enterprise. He loves a spreadsheet and being an authority on all thing's accounting. Counting the money means a sustainable business that continues to scale and grow, much like the sheer number of his grandchildren (currently 12).

Andrew Rowe

The dad jokes, OMG the dad jokes. Andrew is a jester of sorts in the office with his appreciation of memes and comedic timing. Beyond that he loves programming, coding, integrating, and building online tech platforms. One of the most patient and kind people you're likely to meet, and nothing makes him happier than signing off on a cracking website… except when he's with his family and two lovely boys. Andrew is also our very own dark sky expert.

Fi Jeffery

Fi shapes Brightbulb culture. Yes, we all work super hard but we also have a lot of fun, feel valued and take time to enjoy being part of a real team (not just a bunch of people that work in the same place). Fi is a people-person, Mental Health First Aider and crucially, head of telling Matt when he has silly ideas. She deals with our business ethics and leads our charitable aims to support those who are disadvantaged or excluded in our local communities. ‘Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves' you will often hear Alan say. Someone's got to finance Matt's ambitions and Alan has been doing that for years.

Gab Sison

Gab is a super accomplished full-stack developer who makes cool things happen and loves being a disruptor in the world of web and tech. Gab tackles complex challenges and creates seemingly simple (yet cleverly complex) streamlined solutions. Headphones on, he'll be seen quietly tackling lines of React whilst daydreaming about tackling on the basketball court. Gab slam dunks code straight into Github, making the Brightbulb web world a better place. Ed Galindo WordPress connoisseur, Captain Catalan can be seen sailing the ocean waves. A master of languages ranging from Spanish to JavaScript, CSS and PHP. Ed is our eCommerce expert often seen delving into the templates of WooCommerce and Shopify. Ed comes at all website builds with an approach of ‘how can I learn from this - how can I make this better for the client and their customers'.

Jake Kalcher

Job Titles:
  • Designer, Potter of Plants, Crosser of T's.
Jake is an awesome young creative who lives and breathes Adobe. When he's not playing with colour, line and form, he'll be nurturing his many desk plants or crafting on his ludicrously large Wacom tablet. The constant learner, he's quickly crafted skills in motion graphics, wow-ing clients with some pretty fabulous 2D animations! Jakes next ambition is to turn the office into a horticultural oasis of trees and tranquillity.

Martin Harris

Martin Harris The Sargent of search, stats lover, business enabler Over 40 years' programming and hands-on technical experience. Matt Jeffery

Job Titles:
  • Co - Founder, Award Winner, All Round Nice Guy

Sallie Ryan

Job Titles:
  • Social Impact Activist, Organiser of People, Writer of Stories
The consummate professional, Sallie can be seen organising everything from clients, colleagues and even whisking up the odd event or two. She will never forget a birthday or celebration and is pivotal to entrenching our Brightbulb values, managing our social impact and the custodian of our ‘Wins of the Week' board. Add in a dash of copywriting, a chunk of press releases, and the management of complex client briefs and you get the idea of her typical day at the office. Sallie has specialist background in social enterprise, third sector, ESGs and social impact, and she makes a mean cup of ethical coffee!

Shane Smith

Shane heads up the web and app division. A misfit bunch of coding renegades not too dissimilar to the A-Team. With his logical brain and creative coding, he takes project innovation to a whole new level. He enjoys hearing the term, ‘anything is possible' and is a problem solving, hardworking, nerf-toting son of a gun who keeps the web division on their feet. Especially at morning stand ups. At the weekends you can see Shane winning sim races or in the pits at the touring car championships.
