Bittersweet Turf Farms is owned by Jim Hett and Bud Gamel. More than 25 years after Bittersweet Turf Farms began, many of the same familiar faces can be found working around the farm. From the office staff to our mowers, we are proud of the longevity and commitment of our staff and this business to serving our customers with the best we can possibly provide... Sod is harvested almost year-round. During busy seasons our staff will be working 24 hours a day to harvest at the optimum time. All of our sod is grown on our farm in Roggen, Colorado, about 45 minutes from Denver. Our grass seed blend is optimized to grow exceptionally in the Rocky Mountain Climate. We deliver our first-rate sod to many happy clients on the Front Range and surrounding cities. We strive to make each sod installation quick, stress-free and on-time. It's the formula that's kept us in business for more than 25 years.
