Adam Wright

Born and raised in New York, Adam has always had an admiration for development and architecture. Adam studied accounting and finance at Southeastern University in Florida. He has spent 15 years in hospitality, recently ensuring completion of new location buildouts and restaurant conversions throughout the Southeast. After relocating to Nashville in 2017 to pursue urban infill with a focus on residential projects, he became drawn to commercial and industrial development. With this new found passion, he pursued an opportunity with CA South. In his free time, Adam is an adrenaline junkie, serial weekend-tripper, enjoys live music and exercise.

Andy Burnham

Mr. Burnham has more than 20 years of experience in the multifamily investment and development sector and has been involved in the acquisition, development, management, and disposition of more than 20,000 housing units in Florida. Prior to the formation of CC Residential, Mr. Burnham worked on numerous private real estate investments and developments in Southeast Florida, and until 2001 held various asset management and development positions with JPI. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Arkansas Tech University and a MBA from the University of Arkansas. An active leader in the real estate industry, Mr. Burnham is involved in several associations and boards, including ULI and the South East Florida Apartment Association (SEEFA).He is active in community affairs and has received numerous honors in his career, including JPI Developer of the Year, National Business School Merit Award, and National Scholar Athlete.

Brandon Crews

Brandon is a Financial Analyst at CA South, where he is responsible for the underwriting of all new acquisitions and developments. Prior to CA South, Brandon worked as a Senior Analyst for Sureste Capital, a real estate private equity firm based out of Miami. While at Sureste, he handled the acquisition and disposition of more than $400 million of multifamily assets. Prior to Sureste, Brandon worked as an Analyst at Greystone. During his tenure, he successfully underwrote and originated $250 million of agency debt. Brandon graduated from Florida State University, cum laude with his Bachelor of Science in Finance. In addition, he holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His personal interests include golf, snowboarding, and spending time on the lake.

Chris Stranix - CFO

Chris Stranix moved from Washington DC and joined CA South in 2020 and serves as the Vice President of Finance for CA South, where he is responsible for the organization's financial oversight, treasury management, and various project underwriting initiatives. Chris has an impressive track record in both corporate finance and real estate. Before joining CA South, Chris served as Vice President in the real estate investment banking group at Wells Fargo Securities / Eastdil Secured, where he advised both public and private real estate companies across property types on capital planning and strategic matters such as M&A, portfolio sales, and joint ventures. During his tenure at WFS / ES, he was a key advisory deal team member on various REIT sellside M&A transactions totaling over $6.0 billion in value and the $225 million IPO of a net lease retail REIT. Chris began his career in public accounting, primarily in PwC's assurance group based in Washington DC and focused on private equity and real estate clients. Chris received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Accounting from Boston College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is an avid Washington Nationals baseball fan.

Ken Erickson

With more than 20 years of diverse, national experience in real estate acquisition and development, Ken Erickson serves as Chief Development Officer for CA South. With the ability to construct and facilitate cohesive teams, evaluate, and provide sound real estate development judgement, interface with public agencies, and liaise with key stakeholders, Ken is responsible for all things development related. Ken has had a distinguished career in both the private and public sectors, most recently as Vice President at the publicly traded REIT Brixmor Property Group. Ken attained the office of Managing Director of a national real estate development platform with InSite Real Estate; and has served as Senior Director of Development with the national hotel and water park entity Great Wolf Resorts. Ken holds several certifications and licenses including Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Geologist (PG), a licensed real estate agent, and acted as Keynote Speaker for an international audience on the future of sustainable tourism.

Meg Aubale Epstein - CEO, Founder

Born in California, but today calls Nashville, Tennessee home, real estate developer Meg Epstein has over a decade of experience creating efficient, modern lifestyles for people where it matters most: their homes and neighborhoods. Developing and establishing spaces that support whole living and simplify home and work life for individuals is a personal passion of hers. To that end, Meg founded CA South in 2016 with the idea of bringing to Nashville her sense of design and style of building honed from her days constructing in California. Meg quickly recognized the unique under-supply of residential condos in this market, and began by being focused on this asset class. As CA South raised its first dedicated fund in early 2019, the firm expanded beyond residential condos to include multifamily mixed-use, industrial and office projects, as well as opportunity zone funds. Over the course of her career, she's been involved in the development and construction of over 1 million square feet of residential and commercial real estate, representing over $780 million to date. Mike McDonald is a Senior Managing Director with JLL in the Investment Sales & Advisory business. His team is implemental in growing JLL's national and global capital markets businesses as well as the office vertical as a primary asset class within the commercial real estate industry. Prior to JLL, Mike was a Vice Chairman with Cushman & Wakefield and was one of the leading office investment sales professionals in the country. He was a member of the firm's Management Committee and helped guide the Capital Markets platform on a global basis. He has been instrumental in more than $60 billion of office transactions across the Sunbelt. Prior to Cushman, Mike was a partner and Managing Director at Eastdil Secured, where he oversaw the office investment sales teams across the Sunbelt and, as part of the senior leadership, helped foster the direction and strategy of the firm while interfacing with key clients. His primary focus is high-profile office transactions across the Sunbelt, with notable record breaking transactions in Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Nashville and South Florida. Sara Weedman-White

A native Middle Tennessean, Sara Weedman-White, is excited to be part of a team making a difference in the area. Sara has spent her career gaining valuable experience managing corporate compliance, as well as due diligence and project schedules in both the private real estate sector and for the City of Nashville. In her work with CA South, she is responsible for contract review and management, along with project schedules and management of the due diligence process. In her spare time, Sara enjoys volunteering with the Cumberland Valley Girl Scouts, going to concerts, and visiting National Parks with her husband.

Sondra Wenger

Sondra Wenger is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience for top-tier institutions, including CBRE Global Investors (currently serving as Head of Commercial Real Estate, Americas), CIM Group (served as the Managing Director, Investments), General Electric, Equity Office Properties and AMB (now Prologis). Each firm has a national/international presence in which she was responsible for strategizing, developing and executing the real estate investment strategy. Over her career, she has sourced, negotiated and closed $9.4 billion of transactions in over 35 different cities. She has been involved in an array of transactions including equity and debt positions in stabilized, value-add, opportunistic, infrastructure and opportunity zone investments in office buildings, retail, apartments, condominiums, industrial, data centers, cold storage, hotels and mixed-use assets through direct and joint venture investments. Ms. Wenger is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), serves as Membership Chair on the Executive Board for the Urban Mixed-Use Development Council, is a member of the ULI Capital Markets Council and is a mentor for the ULI Young Leader partnership program. She is a frequent speaker at real estate conferences, sharing her experiences, expertise and perspective in today's highly competitive market. Stephen Epstein

South successfully launched its first dedicated blind pool fund in early 2019 and tapped Stephen to lead its newly formed investment management division. Stephen's roots in real estate development run deep, as he began in the industry just after graduating from the University of Southern California in 2003. Stephen began working for Conquest Student Housing, a boutique real estate development firm with over $150M in student housing projects. After Conquest divested of its properties, Mr. Epstein moved back to San Francisco to work for another student housing developer in Berkeley, California, Panoramic Interests. A year later, Mr. Epstein took a position as Acquisition Analyst with Grosvenor Group Limited, the Duke of Westminster's global private equity real estate fund. At Grosvenor, Mr. Epstein received a more refined and disciplined education in formal underwriting, asset allocation, fund management, and other important institutional skills. During his time at Grosvenor, Stephen worked on transactions of more than $300M and earned his CCIM. In 2007, Mr. Epstein exited the real estate field and started a publishing and training company named DollarCamp to bring financial literacy to high school and college students. DollarCamp continues to publish textbooks and education curriculum to this day, with Mr. Epstein remaining an owner but no longer involved with day-to-day business matters. In 2009, Mr. Epstein returned to real estate and began buying rental properties in Aurora, Colorado and Tampa, Florida. In 2012, intrigued by its real estate market and attracted to its strong demographic fundamentals, he relocated to Nashville. Over the next five years, Mr. Epstein syndicated over a dozen residential renovation projects and land entitlement projects and parcels, reinvigorating areas of East Nashville, Germantown, and Sylvan Park.
