Adam Richard Fleming - Chairman

Adam was born in 1948 and educated at Eton College in the UK. He worked for the family banking business in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore for over thirty years and reestablished the business in South Africa in 1991, while privately funding a new greenstone gold deposit discovered by Shell in 1995. Kalgold was subsequently acquired by Harmony and Adam became Chairman during a period that saw the Group become one of the largest gold mining operations in the world. Adam retains significant investments in natural resources in the region and remains an outspoken champion of the tremendous opportunities for South Africa in the world of mining.

Greg Greyvensteyn

Greg has been involved in the international trade of metals and minerals for the past 16 years. Greg began his trading career under a JSE listed trading house where he grew into the role of senior trader, responsible for the development and maintenance of many strategic relationships. In 2015 Greg was one of the key founding shareholders of Stratore (Pty) Ltd which has since grown into a well respected trading house within the South African commodity trading industry. Under his leadership as a Director and Chief Executive Officer for the past eight years, Stratore has developed interests and investments in various mining projects and operations throughout South Africa and has established significant trade finance lines within the South African banking sector. Greg brings with him a wealth of specialised experience in the international trade of Chrome, Manganese Ore, Iron Ore and Coal sourced in South Africa and Zimbabwe. As well as inTin, Tantalum and Tungsten sourced from further within the African continent.

Harry Wulfsohn - Founder

Harry Wulfsohn is joint CEO of Imara Holdings Limited and founder of Fleming Wulfsohn Africa Limited whose main investment is Imara. Harry has an impressive 20 years' financial services experience in Africa and the UK. In 2014, he launched Fleming Wulfsohn Africa Limited to source, invest, and actively manage private equity and real estate opportunities in Central and Southern Africa. Having acquired control of Imara in 2017, all activity has migrated to the Imara Group. Since the launch, the company has completed numerous transactions in Africa, including leveraged buyouts of listed and private companies, turnarounds, and the restructuring of financial services and waste processing businesses. The company has also invested growth capital into private companies. Harry is former director of the Stenham Group, a position he held for 15 years. Furthermore, Harry led the transformation of Stenham from a multi-family office into an institutional fund manager. He held roles in London as Head of Business Development and COO of Asset Management in Johannesburg where he was responsible for trade finance. He was involved in the Wulfsohn family interests in various businesses across Central and Southern Africa over many years. Harry is a qualified Chartered Accountant and worked at Arthur Andersen in London in the Corporate Financial Services and Turnaround division. He holds the Investment Management Certificate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research, London, and a BSc (Hons) from Manchester University.

Hector Fleming

Hector Fleming is a founder of Fleming Wulfsohn Africa, an African investment company. He has more than fifteen years of private equity and capital market experience across Africa and other emerging markets. Hector is a joint CEO of Imara Holdings Limited, a Pan African Financial Services Group and is a director of the The Johannesburg Land Company Limited, Clover Alloys SA Limited, Zambezi Ranching and Cropping Ltd and Yellowstripe Resources Limited. In earlier years, Hector was a former director of GoldMoney Inc, and an executive of Standard Chartered Bank's private equity group in London, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Philip Kotze - CEO

Philip started his career in 1981 with Anglovaal Mining Corporation. During his career he worked for a number of companies including Anglogold Ashanti, Kalahari Goldridge Mining Co Ltd , Harmony Gold Mining Co Ltd, Deloitte and Anooraq Resources Corporation. He has accumulated significant operational experience over the last 40 years on a number of different mines and has distinguished himself as an expert in finding innovative solutions for complex problems. Philip served on the executive level of listed mining companies since 1996. He operated as Chief Operating Officer for Harmony Gold Mining Co Ltd and in 2008 Philip joined Atlatsa Resources Corporation, a public company, listed on TSX-Venture Exchange, Amex and the JSE, in the role as President and Chief Executive Officer, a position he held until March 2011. Thereafter, Philip took up the position as Chief Executive Officer of Witwatersrand Consolidated Gold Company in 2011 with the objective to take the company into production. The company was subsequently acquired by Sibanye Gold at the end of March 2014. Philip joined Clover Alloys (SA) Pty Ltd in 2014 when he took over the reigns as Chief Executive Officer. During his tenure at Clover Alloys he grew the production capacity of the company from 36 000 t/annum to 1.5 million t/annum. This entailed investing in both unlisted direct corporate investments and a broad range of Private Equity Managers. He subsequently returned to his native U.K. and continued with the same responsibilities. The portfolio included several African unlisted companies. He currently Chairs the Investment Committee of a U.S based family office, is a Director of a London listed Investment Company and advises an African focused Private Equity Fund.
