Job Titles:
  • DIRECTOR FREELANCE
Laurence Vandeputte graduated in Visual Communication at Ecole de Recherche Graphique in Brussels. With a career in advertising for over thirty years, she has worked for Lowe, TBWA, Saatchi&Saatchi, AIR and others including about ten years with Publicis Groupe. Before becoming a Creative Director, she was an Art Director pur sang. It is her thing. She's worked with many brands across categories such as cars, banks, retailers, telecom, pharmaceuticals, NGOs… and has earned national and international recognition for her work. In advertising, what she likes best is the constant evolution and the team work. Her goal is to achieve more inclusivity among creatives.

Maxime Damo

Job Titles:
  • ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR at HAPPINESS BRUSSELS
Maxime Damo started his career at Publicis Groupe and worked there for about 5 years, zigzagging between the role of an art director and a copywriter. Then he yo-yoed between Belgium and France where he took a challenge at Ores Group France. After a couple of years, he found his happy place at Happiness Brussels where he can fully be the undefined, perpetually, mutating creature that he is. But for short, he's just an ACD. After hours, it's difficult to put on a label on what he does to fulfil his creative thirst: he writes novels, makes jewels, and hangs middle fingers on walls. Helping young talents stepping in the ad industry has always been one of his drives. Therefore he proudly barked as board member of YoungDogs Belgium. And now, he will roar as board member of Creative Belgium.

Thomas Driesen

Job Titles:
  • DIRECTOR at TBWA BELGIUM
Thomas Driesen likes to do stuff. He works as creative director at TBWA for clients as Samsung and Telenet. His favorite part of the job? Helping young creatives improve. That's why he's one of the initiators of The Nightshift, a one-night talent program for students aiming to enter the ad industry. Supporting the next creative generation is one of the main reasons he joined the board of Creative Belgium. His own start in advertising in the middle of the 2011 financial crisis was rather bumpy, but along the way he found his way. Growing up in advertising as a copywriter, he quickly got hungry for creating images. As a photographer and visual concept provider, he now freelances for small independent fashion labels, and his artistic work has been exhibited at European art festivals such as Art Basel, Les Rencontres d'Arles, and international galleries like Joseph Le Palais in Paris. He's a member of the Brussels collective Stadsgardeville and recently co-founded the startup Pizzabol with the mission of bringing Napoli style pizza dough to every kitchen oven. When he has time left, he loves to sleep.
