Attorney Samuel A. Falcone, Jr., partner, has been practicing law in Northeastern Pennsylvania for over twenty years.
Born in Pittston, Attorney Falcone received his B.A. in Economics from Brown University, and subsequently received his J.D. from Widener University. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers association, and the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association. Attorney Falcone is licensed to practice in all Federal and State courts in Pennsylvania, including the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court, and the United State District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
In addition to being a partner at Saporito, Falcone & Watt, Attorney Falcone currently serves as defense counsel for the Luzerne County Drug Treatment Court and the Luzerne County Specialty Court for mental health. Attorney Falcone has previously served as a conflict counsel for indigent criminal in Luzerne County where he has litigated hundreds of criminal cases from simple misdemeanors to homicide trials. Additionally, Attorney Falcone currently serves as solicitor to a number of municipalities and municipal authorities.
With over twenty years of experience, Attorney Falcone has represented the residents of Luzerne and surrounding counties in many different practice areas. He represents various businesses in Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties and has handled many multi-million dollar business acquisitions. He has significant courtroom experience having handled dozens of civil and criminal jury trials to verdict. He has done simple and complex estate planning and routinely handles estate administration, often times involving complex matters relating to the distribution of assets and preparing and filing inheritance tax returns. Having a wide variety of experience, Attorney Falcone primarily practices in the areas of general civil litigation, business formation and transactions, real estate matters, estate planning and administration, municipal law and general personal injury litigation.
Born in the greater Pittston Area, Attorney Falcone is a lifelong resident of the Pittston Area. He currently resides in Yatesville, Luzerne County with his Wife, Sue Falcone and his three daughters. Attorney Falcone is active in various civil organizations and routinely volunteers his time representing non-profit organizations such as the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce in a pro bono capacity.
Attorney Maura Armezzani Tunis, associate, received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Scranton, and her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She was admitted to practice by both the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Tunis is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Prior to joining Saporito, Falcone & Watt, Attorney Tunis served as Law Clerk to the Honorable A. Richard Caputo in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she was previously employed as a part-time public defender representing indigent clients in criminal matters in Luzerne County. She currently contracts with the Luzerne County Courts to provide legal representation in criminal homicide cases and other complex criminal cases. She also serves as a CJA Panel member in federal court and routinely represents criminal defendants facing serious federal charges.
Attorney Tunis has extensive courtroom experience having handled many criminal jury trials ranging from simple summary offenses to complex felony cases. She currently concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, criminal law, and general civil litigation.
Attorney Tunis was born and raised in Jessup, Lackawanna County where she still resides today with her Husband, Nick, and two young children. Attorney Tunis is very active in the Jessup area and always finding ways to give back to her community.

Attorney William J. Watt, III, Partner, graduated from Hazleton Area High School in 2000, received his B.S. in Business from King's College in 2004, and his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2007. He was admitted by both the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in 2007. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Attorney Watt joined the firm as an Associate in 2007 after previously interning with the firm during law school. Upon joining the firm, Attorney Watt also joined the Luzerne County Public Defender's Office in a part-time capacity where he worked for over 8 years. He currently serves as a CJA Panel federal criminal defense attorney in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Both of these positions have resulted in Attorney Watt handling hundreds of complex criminal cases and trying over 15 cases in front of a jury. This includes 3 homicide trials and 2 death penalty trials. As a private criminal defense lawyer, Atty. Watt has handled a variety of criminal cases ranging from summary citations to serious felony offenses. His significant trial experience gives him a unique advantage when handling criminal cases.
In 2015, Attorney Watt became legal partners with Attorney Samuel A. Falcone, Jr. and the firm became known as Saporito, Falcone & Watt. Upon becoming a partner, Attorney Watt departed the Public Defender's Office and turned his attention to other areas of the law. He has handled hundreds of domestic matters including divorce, custody, child support, and adoption. He currently spends a significant amount of his practice concentrating on Guardianships, Estate planning and Estate Administration. He is trusted by the Court of Common Pleas of Luzerne County to handle many complex, contested Estate and Guardianship matters. This is in addition to the variety of other practice areas included in Attorney Watt's practice including business formation and acquisition, general civil litigation, and estate litigation. He also serves as Solicitor to two municipalities and one municipal authority. His vast array of experience across multiple practice areas has earned him the title of "Rising Star Super Lawyer" every year since 2012.
Attorney Watt was born and raised in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania in the Greater Hazleton Area. He currently resides in Drums, Pennsylvania with his wife, Jaime, and their three young children. Attorney Watt is very active in youth sports in the Hazleton Area and is on the board of various youth sports organizations.
