Beth Bullock

Beth joined Fairway Management Group in August 2013 as Corporate Accountant serving Fairway Management Group and Fairway Investments, bringing with her more than 16 years of experience in commercial real estate financial reporting and accounting. Responsibilities include consolidation of investment financials, financial institution compliance reporting, calculation of investment metrics and month end close out process. In April 2019, Beth was promoted to Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Beth was employed for more than 15 years by Colonial Properties Trust. During Beth's years with Colonial she held positions as Division Accountant and Accounting Manager before moving to Corporate Manager of Financial Planning, the position she held when the company merged with Mid-America Apartments in 2013 and she joined Fairway Management Group. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University in 1993.

Brad Boswell

Brad joined Fairway Management Group in October 2012 as Property Accounting Manager bringing with him more than nine years of real estate accounting experience. His resume includes Bayer Properties and Colonial Properties Trust, both Birmingham-based real estate companies. Brad was responsible for all aspects of property accounting including monthly financial reporting, monthly tenant billings and annual CTI reconciliations. In July 2017, Brad was promoted to Director of Accounting overseeing the talented accounting team where he is responsible for all day-to-day accounting functions, cash management and financial reporting for Fairway Management Group. Brad is a 1999 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and received his accounting degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008.

Carter Dukes

  • Property Accountant
Carter joined Fairway in 2023 as a Property Accountant. He is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, annual budgets, annual forecasts, and CTI reconciliations. Prior to joining Fairway, Carter served as a Senior Tax Associate specializing in Real Estate and Construction for Warren Averett. While at Warren Averett, he took part in managing, preparing, and reviewing several projects each tax season. During his time at Warren Averett, Carter served as the job manager for all Fairway projects. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in accounting and went on to receive his master's degree in accounting and data analytics from the University of Mississippi in 2020.

Chris Courtenay

Chris joined Fairway Management Group in May, 2016 and is currently responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties in Georgia and North Carolina. Before joining Fairway Management Group, Chris worked for Jackson Corporate Real Estate in the Atlanta market as a Building Engineer and was responsible for the operations, maintenance and tenant relations for multiple office buildings. Prior to joining Jackson, Chris was a maintenance manager for AMLI overseeing a 698-unit apartment complex for six years.

David C. Smith II

Job Titles:
  • Senior Property Manager, Alabama and Tennessee Regions
David joined Fairway Management Group in August 2013 and is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties in Alabama and Tennessee. He has more than 35 years of management experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, David managed retail, office and multi-family properties for First Service Residential Realty, Collateral Properties, Engel Realty Company and Eutaw Village Shopping Center. David earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama and has an Asbestos Supervisor Certification.

Fred Rixey

Job Titles:
  • Investment and Accounting Systems Director
Fred Rixey has more than 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Fred joined Fairway Management Group at its inception in 2009 as Director of Accounting. He established the company's accounting procedures and developed a seasoned accounting team. He has been responsible for converting the group's property management and accounting software system to Yardi and PayScan system. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Fred was employed for 25 years by Colonial Properties Trust, where he ultimately served as Senior Financial Officer of the Retail Division. While at Colonial, he was an integral part of the selection and implementation of the changeover to an SQL-based property management and accounting software system, created numerous key custom reports for financial and non-financial reporting, and established Sarbanes-Oxley control procedures. Fred's prior experience includes office, industrial and retail property management, leasing, finance and syndication. Fred earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Administration from Georgia State and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, respectively. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama serving as the qualifying broker for Fairway Management Group. He holds both CSM and CRX designations with the International Council of Shopping Centers. Fred has been awarded numerous medals and recognitions including two Bronze Stars and two Army Commendation medals during his service in the U.S. Army.

Julie Tabele

Julie joined Fairway Management Group in August 2015 and is currently responsible for the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties in Florida.With more than 15 years of property management experience, Julie is a tenant-focused manager with extensive experience in diverse environments. She has managed all types of commercial properties using her strong administrative skills, a deep knowledge of contracts and property accounting, and excellent communications abilities. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Julie worked for The Sembler Company as a Commercial Property Manager where she managed over 1M sf of retail space for various third-party owners. Julie is a veteran of the United States Air Force where she served eight years in the accounting and finance division. She obtained her Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation in 2008. Julie is also a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in the State of Florida.

Katy Woodruff

Katy joined Fairway Management Group in May 2017 as Property Accounting Manager. She is responsible for all aspects of property accounting including monthly financial reporting, monthly tenant billings and annual CTI reconciliations. Katy also supervises the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and works closely with our tenants to insure their understanding of lease requirements regarding rents and reconciliations. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Katy was at Books-A-Million for 3 years and at Colonial Properties Trust for more than 9 years. At Books-A-Million, she was the Senior Accountant for the subsidiary company that owned all of the real estate properties. At Colonial, Katy was property accountant for retail, office, and residential properties. Katy grew up in Mobile and moved to Birmingham to continue her education at University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Keegan Garland

Keegan joined Fairway Management Group in July 2023 as Property Accounting Assistant. She handles the property accounting including financial reporting, tenant billings, and CTI reconciliations for our 3rd party managed properties. Keegan also assists with the property accounting for properties owned by Fairway Investments. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Keegan worked on small contract projects for Vulcan Materials and Coca Cola Bottling United in Birmingham, as well as with Veolia North America in Milwaukee as a general ledger accountant. She also served as Property Accountant in Panama City Beach for By the Sea Resorts. Keegan grew up in Indiana and moved to Birmingham to be closer to family. Lee Mallette

Lee Mallette joined Fairway Management Group in 2017 as Assistant Property Manager, offering support for David Smith on properties in Alabama and Tennessee. Lee was promoted to Property Manager, Third Party Management in 2019, which FMG has grown to over 600,000 square feet since he came on board. Prior to joining the team, Lee worked as an Allied and Rental Sales Representative for Thompson Tractor Company. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Marketing and Sales Specialization and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Alabama.

Lisa Morrison

Lisa has more than 30 years of banking and legal experience, with a primary emphasis on multi-family, retail and commercial real estate. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group at its inception in 2009, Lisa was an Assistant Vice President of BBVA Compass where she was involved in the creation of the funding desk for the Commercial Real Estate Department. Previously Lisa also worked as a paralegal with Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. and King, Drummond & Dabbs law firms, where she assisted attorneys with the representation of lenders, buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in all types of real estate matters, including acquisition, development, financing and leasing. Lisa's current responsibilities with Fairway Management Group include the management and preparation of all lease documentations and lease administration. Lisa graduated from Leeds High School in 1983 and continued her education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Maureen Harris

Maureen joined Fairway Management Group in April 2015 bringing with her over seventeen years of administrative and accounting-related experience. From 2015 to 2019, Maureen served as the AP/AR Specialist for Fairway Management Group. Her AP duties included invoice processing, utility tracking, new vendor set-ups and vendor dispute resolution. The AR duties included applying tenant payments, preparing deposit reports for management, reviewing tenant balances and coordinating with property managers for collection efforts. In 2019, she concentrated full-time on Accounts Receivable with additional focus on tenant relationships and collections and in 2021 was promoted to Accounts Receivable Manager. Previously, Maureen was employed with Colonial Properties Trust for over six years serving as the Executive Assistant in the corporate and multi-family accounting departments. She also served as the office coordinator for the downtown offices of Colonial Properties Trust.

Murray Brown

Murray joined Fairway Management Group in June 2023 as Lease Administrative Assistant. She provides administrative support to the Fairway Management Group leasing team. Prior to joining Fairway, Murray worked at ServisFirst Bank for two years. Murray grew up in Birmingham, AL where she went to Mountain Brook High School. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor's in Finance and Marketing.

Sara Haight

Job Titles:
  • Senior Property Manager, North and South Carolina Regions
Sara Haight joined Fairway Management Group in October 2017 as Senior Property Manager and will be responsible for the day to day operations of our North and South Carolina properties. Sara was previously employed by Bayer Properties LLC as the General Manager of Metropolitan. Metropolitan is a mixed-use facility in Charlotte which includes two condominium owners' associations, a 170,000sf retail component, a ten-story class A office building and a six floor parking deck. In addition, she worked directly for the Metropolitan Master Association Executive Board and was a liaison between the residential management company who directly represented the COA's. Prior to her five years at Metropolitan, Sara worked with several developers including Bell Partners, Inc, Pappas Properties LLC and Crosland managing a variety of commercial property types in the North Carolina geographic area for the past 20 years.

Sara Owens

Sara joined Fairway Management Group in January 2016 as our Lease Administrative Assistant offering administrative support for the leasing team. She began her career with Sterling Resident Services, in multi-family Property Management, where she spent five years as an Assistant Manager and Leasing Professional. She was involved in lease administration, lease renewals, resident retention, marketing, budgeting, updating all media, and leasing. Before beginning her career she graduated locally from Homewood High School in 2006 and went on to graduate from The University of Montevallo in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Tina Clark

Tina joined Fairway Management Group in July 2016 as Property Manager of Summit at Preston Trails in Dallas, Texas. Preston Trails is a (3) building multi-tenant office property located in a premier area of Dallas. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Tina worked for Silver Tree Partners for 15 years as Property Manager for their Addison and Dallas, Texas properties including office buildings and a retail center. She was responsible for all basic management functions and assisted with leasing and accounting services as needed.

Vicki McClung

Job Titles:
  • Property Management Assistant
Vicki joined Fairway Management Group in January 2014 as Receptionist/Property Management Assistant. She has more than 30 years of experience in office administration with more than 12 years in the commercial real estate industry. Vicki provides support to the property management team by assisting with reporting, vendor contract management, insurance certificates and tenant requests and relations. Vicki also manages the front office and handles all incoming calls and requests for the management team. Prior to joining Fairway Management Group, Vicki was employed by Colonial Properties Trust as Specialty Leasing Agent and Office Manager for the commercial division. Vicki is a candidate for the Alabama Real Estate Salesperson License.
