Having delivered a free, impartial and highly regarded information and advice (I&A) service to the public since 1985, from 2002 we made repeated efforts to build the scale and reach of the service by forging partnerships with other organisations. In 2008 these efforts resulted in the launch of FirstStop, a comprehensive I&A service covering care, housing and associated financial matters... We are always looking to work with new national and local partners who share our vision of improving access to independent and expert housing & care options advice for older people and their families. FirstStop already works with a wide range local partners across the country, which has allowed us to help more than 30,000 older people in the last year alone, and we anticipate that in 2015/16 that number will increase.
