The High Country Area Agency on Aging is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults, family caregivers and people with disabilities by providing support, education, advocacy and choices throughout their continuum of care... High Country Area Agency on Aging is the central hub for resources and support for older adults in the North Carolina High Country. Through our direct services and provider network, we offer home- and community-based solutions, family caregiver support, a long-term care ombudsman, advocacy, and health promotion and disease prevention classes... The High Country AAA is one of 16 AAAs across the state of North Carolina.
