Leasing Outfitters is a site I started in order to help others understand how equipment leasing works, and how it can work for them... This is me in the 90s, back when we had CRT monitors, viewed credit reports on a dot matrix printer, and received documents via fax. I have changed quite a bit since then, as has our technology. The fundamentals of leasing, however, are pretty much the same... My first job out of college was as a credit and relationship guy for the West Coast office of a large bank-owned small ticket equipment leasing company. I managed that office before moving to other large leasing companies in Michigan and Florida. My leasing experience includes nearly all aspects of the life of a lease, including sales presentation, vendor onboarding, credit, documentation, contract negotiation, pricing and profitability analysis, portfolio purchases and sales, end of lease, process improvements, team management, sytems implementation, and project management as a certified..
