Anthea McIntyre

Anthea leads the firm. Anthea's expertise includes estate planning, providing advice in relation to contested estates, estate litigation, probate and estate administration. Anthea also acts as a Court-appointed administrator of complex and/or contested deceased estates, and as a Court-appointed tutor. Anthea has been practising as a Solicitor for over 20 years, and is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia. Anthea holds a Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class Honours, a Masters of Applied Law specialising in Wills & Estates and a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Psychology). Anthea was awarded 1st place in her Masters in Wills & Estates and received the Prize for Best Graduating Student. The Law Society of NSW has appointed Anthea as an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates Law. Specialist Accreditation is a structured peer to peer assessment process enabling legal practitioners to be recognised for their expertise. To be accredited specialists must pass a series of meticulous assessments on both legal knowledge and its application in practice. To retain their accreditation specialists must undertake significant additional professional development in their area of expertise each year. Anthea was recommended in Doyle's Guide as a Wills, Estates & Succession Planning Lawyer in NSW in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Anthea was also recommended in 2020, 2021, and 2022 as a Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer. Anthea is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has sat on The Law Society of New South Wales' Elder Law, Capacity & Succession Committee since January 2018. Anthea also sits on The Law Society of New South Wales' Professional Conduct Committee.

Jessica was named on the UNSW Law Dean's List of Excellence in Academic Performance for achieving 1st place in Succession Law. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading, attending the theatre, playing softball, and eating chocolate biscuits. Jessica is a member of The Law Society of New South Wales.
