Mr. Krause has been actively involved in the acquisition, syndication, operation and management of real estate since 1965. Prior to founding Mid-America, he was a real estate broker specializing in industrial, retail and multi-family real estate. From 1971-1998, Mr. Krause served in various capacities including Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Realty Refund Trust, a REIT listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Krause is both a licensed securities broker-dealer and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Ohio. He graduated from Cornell University in 1952 and received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the same university in 1953.

Mr. Misencik received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Cleveland State University in 1984 and received his Masters degree in Business Administration from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve in 1989. He is a certified public accountant in the State of Ohio, and his experience includes five years with a national CPA firm. Prior to his current position, he was Chief Financial Officer and was involved in financing or re-financing over $200 million of mortgage loans. From 1992 to 1998 Mr. Misencik also served as Vice President of Realty ReFund Trust.
