Michael Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor with 19 years of experience in accounting, auditing (external and internal), tax, healthcare finance and operations. Michael began his career in public accounting after earning a Masters of Professional Accountancy. While in public accounting, Michael worked in tax and audit, including auditing hospitals. This segued into the next chapter of his career; healthcare finance, accounting and operations. Michael's experience in healthcare included internal auditing, managing payor contracts with insurance, and eventually holding the position of CFO at two different hospitals. Michael has now returned to public accounting where he leverages his knowledge and experience to help his clients achieve their goals. He welcomes the diversity of working with individuals and businesses and enjoys the relationship that develops from a successful partnership with his clients. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Michael lives in Canton, Georgia with his wife and two daughters. He is a member and president elect of the Rotary Club of Cherokee County. He finds great fulfillment participating in community service projects. He was on the Board of Directors of the Canton YMCA. Michael enjoys playing guitar, reading, and outdoor activities with his family in the North Georgia Mountains.
