After more than two decades in management positions at two of the most recognized and respected assisted living and dementia care facilities on Long Island, Paul Rosen came to realize that there was a void in elder care. For years Paul noted residents in need of a greater scope of care leaving for nursing home facilities and felt there must be a better option. Once the resident in need was his own Uncle Barry, Paul decided it was time to make his dream a reality. In February 2013, the first Our House residence was opened in Plainview, and by June 2014, Paul resigned his positions in Oyster Bay to dedicate himself full time to the management and operation of Our House and its subsidiaries.
