Bob Thorpe was Ausenco's founding Managing Director until retiring from the role in 1999. Prior to the formation of Ausenco in 1991, Mr Thorpe held Director and General Manager positions in engineering and operations management companies in Queensland and Western Australia. Mr Thorpe has more than 35 years' experience in design, engineering, project management, construction, operations and maintenance of large-scale processing plants in Australia and internationally. He also has significant experience in contractual and commercial management, estimating systems and corporate risk management. Mr Thorpe is a member of both the Audit and Risk Management Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Brian Collett

Brian Collett joined the Ausenco Board in June 2019. Brian currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer for one of Missouri's largest retirement systems, LAGERS. His fiduciary responsibilities include oversight and management of LAGERS' $10.0 billion investment portfolio as well as serving as the investment advisor to the LAGERS' Board of Trustees. With more than 25 years of results-oriented leadership experience in the investment industry, Mr Collett is highly experienced in building teams and scaling portfolios and businesses as well as restructuring operations. Mr Collett holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the following corporations: GL CEH Luxembourg SARL, AJOVista Asset Management, Ventiv Technology Inc., and ZRG Partners. In addition, Mr Collett currently sits on several advisory boards for numerous US and global private investment funds. Since the project's inception, she has led the implementation of Orien software, and provided technical leadership and training to the team.

Diane Garrett has more than 25 years' senior executive experience in the resources sector and currently serves as the President and CEO of Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation. Ms Garrett was formerly President and CEO of Nickel Creek Platinum (NCP), a mining exploration and development company. Prior to joining NCP, she held the position of President and CEO of Romarco Minerals Inc., taking the multi-million-ounce Haile Gold Mine project from discovery to construction. Prior to that, she held numerous senior positions in public mining companies including VP of Corporate Development at Dayton Mining Corporation. In additional she was senior mining analyst and portfolio manager at US Global Investors. Ms Garrett currently sits on the Board of Directors of Hycroft Mining Holding Corporation, NovaGold Inc. and her current and prior Board roles include Board chair, Governance Committee member and Technical Committee member. Ms Garrett received her Ph.D. in Engineering and her Masters in Mineral Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Zimi Meka is one of the founding directors of Ausenco Pty Ltd and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in 1999. Zimi's background includes senior roles in engineering and operations companies prior to the formation of Ausenco in 1991. He has over 38 years' experience in the development and operation of a wide range of processing plants and infrastructure in the minerals industry in Australia and internationally. He is the Queensland University of Technology's 2008 Alumnus of the Year, was awarded the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy's 2009 Institute Medal and is one of Australia's top 100 most influential engineers as awarded by Engineers Australia. In 2013 Engineers Australia also named him Queensland Professional Engineer of the Year. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019 Zimi was inducted into the Engineers Australia Hall of Fame. Appointed Chief Executive Officer in 1999, Zimi Meka was one of the founding directors of Ausenco. He has more than 35 years' experience in the design, construction and operation of minerals processing plants and infrastructure, both in Australia and internationally. Since the early 2000s, Zimi has overseen Ausenco's diversification into the global business it is today with people, clients and projects in North and South America, Australia, the Pacific nations, Asia, Africa, Europe, Russia and the Middle East across the Minerals & Metals, Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.
