Alex Reidy

Alex is widely regarded as one of the most experienced childrens' coaches working in British skiing, with over a decade of experience under his belt coaching U12, U14 and U16 age groups. Following countless years of high level coaching at the Team Evolution training base in Austria, Alex is now responsible for running the UK side of the Team Evolution programme, supporting the grass roots development of the sport domestically. Alex is recognised as having helped develop some of best young alpine racers coming out of Great Britain right now, whilst being renown for keeping the sport fun and remaining focused on long term development. Alex heads up our regular Welwyn Wednesday sessions as well as volunteering at various dry slopes across the country and has a wealth of experience in running events and driving the sport forwards.

Alex Tilley

Alex coaches the Team Evolution U14 and U16 groups as part of the Children's Team Programme, developing the on and off slope skills of the youngest resident trainees with a blend of technical fundaments, skill development sessions, and fast, free skiing in order to build on the work done at U12 level. Working under the guidance of Head Children's Coach Jordan Fellows. Alex has a wealth of racing experience and has competed at the highest level for many years.

Blair Fraser

Blair joined the Team Evolution coaching team in 2022 and has proven to be an enthusiastic and knowledgable addition to the line up, as well as a fantastic skier and highly skilled sportsperson. Blair is one of our three key Childrens Team coaches, working alongside Alex Tilley and under the guidance of Head Coach Jordan Fellows. He also assists and supports all the other training groups within the Team Evolution programme utilising his multi-sports background, adding value to any session taking place with his strong technical knowledge and understanding of how children learn.

As part of the the Team Evolution Pastoral Care team, India is responsible for looking after the mental and physical well-being of the student-athletes. India is a qualified NHS doctor back in the UK and is currently taking time out of training to work with Team Evolution.

Jordan Fellows

Job Titles:
  • Head Childrens Team Coach
As the Head Children's Team Coach, Jordan oversees the programming and training of both the U14 & U16 Teams, whilst taking responsibility for the on slope coaching of our U16 trainees. As a highly qualified coach who holds both BASI and UKCP qualifications, alongside a degree in Sport & Exercise and a Masters in Sports Psychology, Jordan brings an unparalleled level of understanding to the Children's Team. Jordan has been coaching for close to a decade, following on from a wealth of experience as an athlete including numerous years with the British Ski Team and appearances at the European Youth Olympics and victories across the UK domestic circuits.

Kate Gourley

Kate joined the Team Evolution staff in 2022 as the S & C and Physical Training coach, bringing a wealth of knowledge of different sports and broad range of conditioning techniques. Thanks in part to her own background in high performance sport and as a Sport & Exercise Science graduate from Ulster University, Kate perfectly supplements and supports the alpine coaches knowledge of the physical requirements of alpine skiing and helps to construct the strength, aerobic and skill based programmes for all of the Team Evolution training groups, from U12 - World Cup level.

Lesley Dawson

Lesley has been with Team Evolution since 2015 and leads the support staff, ensuring the programme runs smoothly off the slopes. Whether meeting with the UK schools in her role as School Liaison, supporting athletes throughout the winter as a hands-on House Parent, or making sure all the logistics line up, Lesley is organised, knowledgeable and plays a huge part in driving the Team Evolution programme forwards, making sure that all the trainees stay on track to becoming the best version of themselves possible. Lesley is a keen Triathlete, representing Great Britain in her age group at the European and World Championships, and brings a love of sport to her role at the academy, as well as being a qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Masseuse.

Noam Balter

Noel Baxter

As well as having an extremely strong racing background, including representing GBR at two Olympic Games, Noel has coached a variety of high level teams, including the FIS programme at Killington Mountain School, the Spanish Speed Team and the British National Team. Having coached athletes up to Top 30 at World Cup level, and with a lifetime of involvement in the sport, Noel adds experience to the FIS coaching staff alongside Stefan and Paul.

Paul Telling

As Programme Director, Paul oversees the Team Evolution programme from the U10 age group through to the athletes competing at Europa Cup & World Cup level, as well as managing the off slope support staff. Alongside Stefan Georgiev and Noel Baxter, Paul coaches the FIS Team and brings a broad range of coaching experience, having worked with all ages and levels of skiers in his 20-year career to date.

Stefan Georgiev

With 60 World Cup starts and 4 Olympic Games as an athlete behind him, Stefan brings an unprecedented level of knowledge to the Team Evolution coaching staff, helping the FIS trainees understand what it takes to get to the elite levels of alpine skiing. Since retiring from competitive racing in 2011, Stefan has completed his Masters degree in Sports Coaching and worked with the Bulgarian National Team, before joining Team Evolution in 2019 to work alongside Paul and Noel as the lead Mens Coach.

Will Manns

As the Head coach of the U10 & U12 Squad, Will is responsible for broadening the skill set and athletic level of our youngest trainees, both on and off snow. Coming from a multi-sports background himself - having been a British team skier, wakeboarder, jockey & gymnast at various times in his younger years - Will has a broad skill set that allows him to work with the trainees on a variety of different sports. With an unquestionable ability to encourage, challenge and support those he coaches, Will keeps it light, fun and engaging, but never loses the competitive focus needed to set a good foundation for a rising ski racer.
