Visual Classrooms enables students to quickly and easily capture and share ideas, transforming learning from lectures based on what the teacher knows to interactive discussions based on what students think. Projected at the front of the room (SMARTBoard compatible), Visual Classrooms enables student ideas to drive the discussion. The all HTML5 site runs on any device, in any browser... Visual Classrooms began five years ago as "The InterLACE Project" at Tufts University. Supported by a four-year, $2.4M NSF grant, the project was carried out by a multidisciplinary team of learning scientists, education researchers, computer scientists, and teachers.
