I have devoted many years to the legal profession and although I will continue to work as a Treaty and Māori land lawyer, I look forward to ‘returning to the whenua' and to helping our people in that regard in a positive and professional way. I am a shareholder in the Pakarae A and Other Blocks and although I have lived and worked in Tamaki-makaurau-Auckland for a number of years, I have returned home ‘for good'.

Hayden is the Principal of Makaraka School in Gisborne and is passionate about education and enabling our rangatahi to grow and be successful leaders for our future.
Hayden holds many governance roles including Deputy Chair of Pakarae Incorporation, Chairing the Mangaotane Farm Trust, Chairman of the Poverty Bay Rugby Union, Executive of the Poverty Bay A & P Association (Agricultural and Pastoral Association), Director of Ngāti Porou Whanau Forest, Ngāti Porou Land Trust, Hauiti Incorporation and Mangaheia 2D Incorporation (Paroa Station), Director of Gisborne Holdings Limited, Director of Turanga Ngahere and Federation of Māori Authorities (FOMA) Tairāwhiti Representative.
Hayden is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and holds a Bachelor of Education, Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Practice, Post Graduate Diploma in Administration and Leadership.

Ingrid is a trustee of the 28 Māori Battalion C Company, and Patron of the Gisborne Malaysian Forces. Has travelled and presented in Geneva, Germany and many speaking engagements throughout New Zealand. In 2008, she became a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to Māori and Health. A staunch supporter of the All Blacks and Silver Ferns Netball.
Tēnā koutou koutoa, my name is Anakura Kingi Taumaunu and it has been my honour to be a member of the Whangara B5 Incorporation Committee of Management.
As a shareholder and committee member, I draw strength and pride from the successes of the past, and from the efforts of each generation that has made progress for the farm.
My personal philosophy is to remember our values and our commitments, to each other, and the legacy of our tipuna and the promise for future generations.
I would like to thank the many people associated with the incorporated blocks that have worked so hard over the many years to get our farms to where they are.
I am of Ruapani, Hauiti and Rongowhakaata descent and have been a part of the Pakarae A & Other Blocks Committee of Management for five years.
Married to Debbie since 1986, who is an HR Consultant with BDO in Gisborne. We have two great kids, Sam and Megan. We made New Zealand our home in 1996, and Gisborne in 2021. Why Gizzy? Simple, my son Sam married a Gizzy girl Tayla, and they have had our first moko Poppy Leach who is now two years old. Plus, the fact I have learned that the East Coast is pretty special barring cyclones that is!

Living and working on the land is what drives me. Growing up, I didn't live on a farm but enjoyed trips with my Dad to mates farms to go hunting and helping with mahi. Through this, I always knew that I wanted to be a farmer. Getting to do that in Whangara on our coast here is a bonus.
I've been with Whangara Farms since October 2013, moving here with my partner Renee and our kids during those school holidays. I started as the Head Shepherd on B5, then moved to Rototahe as Farm Manager and also Puatai. In the past year, I've moved into the role of Operations Manager which means I'm able to also concentrate on what I'm highly dedicated to - our people.
It is important to me to be inclusive of all of those who are working the land of Whangara Farms, create a thriving work environment and steer the team towards meeting targets, maintaining high levels of happiness and commitment at work and continued success in the future.
Originally trained at Te Aute College, Stan is a farming stalwart with more than 30 years' industry experience.
