CRIME LINKAGE

Established in 2013, C-LINK is an international network of academics and practitioners with a professional interest in crime linkage. Crime linkage, also known as comparative case analysis, crime linkage analysis, and case linkage, focuses on identifying crimes committed by the same offender using crime scene behaviour... During the first two years of C-LINK, our core activity was centred around two collaborative, international research projects. All network members were involved in the research, each with a responsibility for different aspects of the work. Unique to C-LINK was the manner in which practitioners and academics were able to collaborate on the research projects. In this way, the research produced could address issues of ecological validity in previous research.
