DeSoto is an on-air legal analyst and commentator for NBC News who also appears - or has appeared - on The Today Show, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN and others. In her role as a media commentator, before beginning her own practice, Karen DeSoto gained invaluable experience serving as a public defender, prosecutor and private attorney. Apart from her numerous professional accomplishments, DeSoto continually demonstrates her commitment to the community through her altruistic efforts and support of many charitable foundations and organizations, many of which is she has served as a Board member.
