This year we are working towards renewing our flag. In order to do this we have been focusing on the following areas;... The students of Ogonnelloe NS take part in a wide variety of activities and competitions including hurling, camogie, basketball, quizzes, music, drama, art, science and french. The school has earned six Green School flags; for waste reduction, energy conservation, water conservation, sustainable travel and biodiversity and Global Citizenship (litter & waste). It also has earned its second Active School flag. We have been successful in our application to become a Creative Arts school... We strive to protect and promote a healthy environment and planet. We do this by promoting the core values of each Green Flag and by adapting these values into the ethos of our school. The children are actively engaged with our school garden and continue to uphold the values of the Green Schools in the classroom and at home. We enjoy participating in projects and events that spread..
