Katie is a life-long resident of beautiful northern Michigan and currently resides in downtown Petoskey. Growing up in Harbor Springs, Katie has always had an inherent curiosity around the process of buying and selling properties. After spending time professionally in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors, when the opportunity to join the growing Real Estate One - Petoskey team came up, it was one she ran to right after she obtained her Michigan real estate license.

I'm married to my wife of 10 years, Kristi, we have two grown children, two dogs and two cats, I guess good things come in two's. I'm going on my 20th year as a Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, I serve on the board of the Little Traverse Historical Society and am a recent new member of Petoskey's morning Rotary Club. My family has deep roots in the Boyne City area, the original Hausler barn still stands along the Boyne Mountain golf course, where my Great-Grandfather homesteaded many years ago. I am a graduate of Boyne City High School and Central Michigan University where I received a BS Degree in Education and an MA Degree in Administration. My wife of 50 years, Jean (Reid), whose Grandfather's family business began in 1927 in Petoskey, and still remains today in the same location on Mitchell Street, has reached the 4th generation. While my teaching career spanned 35 years, overlapping that was my Real Estate career, now in its 31st year with Real Estate One. It has been rewarding to work with so many buyers and sellers through the years to meet their real estate needs.
