Stacey Winters has drawn on her background in art and interior design to create a distinctive collection of pet beds. Her spirited Pug dog sleeps on a prototype for the project, and as well as being its muse is its namesake, via one sultry Rita Hayworth character. Gilda® beds are entirely made by hand in Florence, Italy, with painstaking attention to detail. They are intended to complement the homes of a sophisticated clientele - one that has both a playful sense of humor and an eye for aesthetics... The designs are based on historical furniture styles, while some recall nuances of legendary decorators. They are unique for a fresh handling of forms and original configuration of classic decorative motifs, with crisp coloring to contrast touches of antiqued gilding. The results of this reinterpretation are clean and classic - glamorous without excess.
