Craig Sunada

Mr. Sunada is of counsel to the firm. Craig has over 35 years of experience as a litigator representing business and real estate clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations and mediation. Craig has received an AVĀ® rating by Martindale-Hubbell (Peer Review Rated), the highest peer review rating for skill and integrity. His practice includes construction claims, fraud, breach of contract, directors and officer's liability, unfair competition claims, intellectual property litigation and employment disputes as well as substantial experience in complex contract litigation, real estate, commercial leasing, environmental, construction and development disputes. Craig has also appeared before various planning commissions, city councils and administrative agencies representing clients in a variety matters and has testified on proposed legislation before the California State Senate. He is admitted to the State Bar of California as well as the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He was a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Bench and Bar Committee and has served as a moot court judge for numerous national moot court competitions. Harold C. Hart-Nibbrig

Harold C. Hart-Nibbrig, a UCLA School of Law graduate, has been a lawyer for over 44 years. He now practices general business and transactional law, representing numerous small and medium sized private businesses and non-profit corporations. His business law skills were honed by over thirty years as a business and civil litigator handling numerous trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings before various government agencies. He still represents clients in arbitrations and administrative hearings. Harold is adept at helping clients with business start up issues, corporate and other entity formation matters, contracts, employment and personnel matters, business loan and equity financing issues, and business management. His clients consider him a part of their team and respect his problem solving abilities. Harold served on the Board of Directors of the California Small Business Association from 1994 to 2012, and twice served as its Chairperson. In 1995 he was an elected representative to the White House Conference on Small Business. In 2007 he was awarded the California Entrepreneurial Spirit Award by the Office of the Governor of the State of California.

Joseph Sliskovich

A veteran tax and estate planning attorney, Joseph Sliskovich has over 30 years of experience assisting clients with income tax planning, corporate tax planning and estate planning. His primary areas of industry expertise include banking and financial services, real estate, and nonprofit, along with the preparation of estate planning documents for complex and simple estates. Mr. Sliskovich's expertise in tax law has allowed him to participate in the planning and execution of sophisticated tax planning strategies for both domestic and international clients. His significant experience ranges from individual income tax planning for high-profile, high net worth individuals to advising corporate and partnership clients on matters ranging from formation to dissolution. He also assists clients with federal estate and gift tax planning. In addition to providing counsel and oversight on all tax planning and formation needs for charitable organizations, Mr. Sliskovich works with proprietors of small, closely-held businesses as well as multi-million dollar companies, including limited liability companies, limited partnerships and corporations. He is frequently called upon to act as an expert witness in tax controversy matters. Mr. Sliskovich has served and is available to serve as an expert witness in the tax, corporate, and estate planning areas. Mr. Sliskovich is a tenured Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, having served on the faculty for over 30 years. His teaches courses on individual income taxation, partnership taxation, corporate taxation and trusts and wills. He has also taught classes on business planning and advanced individual tax planning. Prior to joining the faculty, Mr. Sliskovich was associated with Price Waterhouse & Co., where he was involved in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for a number of closely held corporations in California and Los Angeles Children's Chorus.

Mark R. Stapke

Mr. Stapke has actively practiced in the field of construction law for more than 35 years, representing contractors, specialty subcontractors, commercial and industrial owners, public entities, architects, and corporate officers and directors. He is the founding partner of StapkeLaw LLP, a firm that specializes in construction and real estate law. He has resolved hundreds of cases for business owners, developers, contractors, and construction owners, most without trial through alternative dispute resolution techniques. Resolving cases within his clients' target ranges is what Mark Stapke is good at, after developing detailed budgets and case plans with total client involvement and interaction. Mark Stapke served as a member of the Legal Advisory Committee to the Associated General Contractors of California and has been General Counsel to Western Council of Construction Consumers for more than 25 years. Mr. Stapke is a contributor to construction industry publications, including the Western Council Connection and the Construction Law Anthology. He also has conducted specialized construction claims training for the California Department of General Services the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power,, Los Angeles World Airports the Judicial Council of California, the California State University System and many others.. Mr. Stapke has served as an arbitrator, mediator and Judge Pro-Tempore to the Los Angeles Superior Court since 1990. He has regularly lectured to trade groups on legal construction issues among them change order and cost control methods.

Sandra J. Gamboa

Attorney Sandra Gamboa works closely with Mark Stapke in the firm's construction and business litigation practice, primarily representing owners, contractors and sub-contractors in all aspects of construction disputes, including arbitration, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution, on both private and public projects. Ms. Gamboa also provides advice to contractors with respect to contracting, delay claims and other related construction issues. Prior to taking the Bar Exam in 2003, Sandra Gamboa was a highly successful litigation paralegal, having vast trial experience and serving at trial as "second chair" in over one hundred state and federal court civil trials.
