THE COLFAX CRUISE

Our goal is to promote motorsports, local businesses and to preserve the rich history of Colfax Avenue. Route 40 ran from Atlantic City, New Jersey, to San Francisco, California. It runs through Colorado all along Colfax from Aurora to the Rocky Mountains. Originally known as Golden Road, as well as Grand Avenue, Colfax Avenue had its name changed in an effort to help Colorado reach statehood and its legacy was born.
