C. Bradley Tashenberg - CEO, Founder, President

Leading the company vision and product strategy over the past 35 years, Mr. Tashenberg is the cornerstone to maintaining Bradmark's status as a leading software provider. After founding Bradmark in 1981, he developed its flagship product, DBGeneral, into one of the leading database utilities in the Hewlett-Packard 3000 Market. A long standing corporate citizen within the Houston IT business community Mr. Tashenberg has fostered many computer software products and has received numerous awards for technical speaking. Mr. Tashenberg received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1968, and later pursued a Masters of Science in Economics. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study Classical languages and was accepted into a PhD program in Advanced Mathematics in 1969. Mr. Tashenberg has also authored two books that were published through the American Management Association. Through his humanitiarian efforts, he has helped sponsor several scholarships within the IT user community and has made sizeable contributions to many art and music organizations. Mr. Tashenberg, Jr. began his career with Bradmark, working in multiple capacities in several departments, spanning over a 12 year period. From a programmer, Product Manager, Account Representative to Director of Public Relations, he gained a comprehensive knowledge of Bradmark's internal structure. In 2001, Mr. Tashenberg moved to Washington, DC to begin his pursuit in politics. Working for Senators and expanding his experience in other political avenues including campaigns and working at the Heritage Foundation, he moved back to Houston to run for U.S. Congress in 2004 (Texas - District 10). He later returned to Washington to pursue his PhD in Economics at George Mason University. During which he remained connected to Bradmark as a consultant, becoming Vice-President of Business Development for the Federal Sector after working on the 2008 Presidential campaign. As CEO and founder of Bradmark, C. Bradley Tashenberg was responsible for the technical vision and product strategy of the company for over forty years. With over 40 years of experience in information and database technology, Mr. Tashenberg began his career in computer programming, which involved the design and development of many successful IT projects. Prior to starting Bradmark, he developed one of the first computerized election systems in the country; was part of a team that developed and marketed one of the most successful computer systems in the legal industry; developed his own programming language; developed a high performance network database system; and transformed the IT of a multinational corporation into a network of homogeneous, fully integrated systems. After first starting Bradmark, Mr. Tashenberg developed its first flagship product, DBGeneral, which soon became the leading database utility product in the Hewlett Packard HP3000 market. More recently, he focused the company's product development around its current flagship product, Surveillance DB, which was devised as an Enterprise monitoring product, capable of supporting an environment of heterogeneous databases through a unified, product architecture. Though the product was originally devised to monitor relational database environments, it is capable of monitoring just about any environment through the use of a rules-based structure.

Charlene Arzu joined the Bradmark team in 2008. Ms. Arzu worked as a Controller for Astocare, a health care provider, and Gannett Outdoor, a company that specialized in the management of billboard advertising. She is an extremely conscientious performer, and has the unique ability to hold to her budget while remaining compassionate to the people she works with. Ms. Arzu holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Houston and is considering acquiring a CPA.

Edward Stangler

Job Titles:

Mr. Stangler came to Bradmark through the acquisition of Pace Systems, which took place in June of 2000. Pace Systems was a product development company which Bradmark used as a lab for the development of its NORAD Surveillance monitoring product line. Mr. Stangler is responsible for the development of the server agent, event management, and central repository technology of the NORAD product line, along with the associated middleware. He is well respected in the field and holds an MS and BS in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

Jack Webb, Businessman, lawyer, geologist, mediator, lobbyist, farmer, diplomat, soldier, and political advisor, Mr. Jack Webb currently serves as Chairman of Jack M. Webb & Associates, Inc., Member of the Board of Techxas Ventures, Houston National Bank, Charter Bank - Houston, Texas Aerospace Commission, American Leadership Forum, Boy Scouts of America, Council for National Policy, and many other private and civic organizations. He has been CEO of over 32 corporations, holds a JD in Law from Tulane University, was General Council to Gulf Resources & Chemical Corp, M.W. Kellogg Company and Standard Oil of Texas, and has been U.S. Special Ambassador to Finland, Bolivia, Angola and Ghana.

James R. (J.R.) Hunter has served as an executive in the information technology industry for most of his career. He has worked in sales and marketing for IBM, Decimus Corporation (a subsidiary of the General Electric Corporation) and BMC Software. At BMC Software, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was responsible for opening and managing several international offices as well as BMC's external distribution network. Most recently, he served as an investor and the Chief Operation Officer of EC Power. EC Power was a provider of transaction management services to the energy industry. Mr. Hunter was instrumental in developing the business model of the company which was subsequently sold in 2008. Mr. Hunter is currently semi-retired and an independent private investor. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.

Timothy Joseph

Mr. Joseph has been with Bradmark for 20 years, over which time he and his group earned a reputation for providing the finest technical support service in the HP3000 and RDBMS markets. He is an excellent manager and very gifted technician - a very difficult combination to find. Prior to joining Bradmark, Mr. Joseph was head of Technical Support for VeSoft, one of the most revered system software companies in the Hewlett Packard HP3000 market. Mr. Joseph has an MS in Economics for the University of California at Irvine and currently heads up our Seattle satellite office.
