Dr. Broggi grew up in New England and has lived in the south for the past 35+ years. He has received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Boston College, a master of theology from Dallas Seminary and a doctorate from the School of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Carl and his wife Audrey have five children and have been at Community Bible Church since 1990, when Carl was called to be the pastor. Dr. Broggi's radio ministry, Search the Scriptures, can be heard locally on The Light 88.7FM WAGP, and on other affiliate stations throughout the east coast.

Claudia Assists the pastors with any administrative duties including scheduling appointments, coordinating schedules, and communicating to staff, members and visitors. As Administrator for Community Bible Church Christian Academy, she oversees the record keeping of the academy. She and her husband William have been married since 1982. They have one grown son, Wesley. She and William have been members of CBC since 2000. Claudia has served as a volunteer in Awana, Youth Ministries and in Women's Ministries before coming on staff in February of 2010. Claudia received her BA from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.

Josh serves as the Campus Pastor at Community Bible Church of Beaufort, South Carolina. Josh retired in 2016 from active duty as a bandsman and combat veteran in the United States Marine Corps having faithfully served twenty-one years. He was ordained to the work of pastor shortly thereafter by the elders at Community Bible Church. Josh earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Valdosta State University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership and a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He enjoys travel and spending time with his family. Josh and Denise have three children and reside on Lady's Island, South Carolina.

A native of Ohio, Larry has been in pastoral ministry since 1985. He and his wife Linda have been married since 1975 and have 3 grown sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 3 grandchildren. Pastor Bennett holds an M. Div. from Grace Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry is from Trinity Bible College and Seminary.

Ed became a Christian at the age of eight when he received Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized that same year. Raised in a Christian home, church attendance and missionary vision were a natural part of Ed's life. At thirteen years of age, he surrendered his life to the Lord for missionary service. Upon graduation from Zanesville High School, he attended Baptist Bible College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Theology in 1982, and a Master of Arts in Religion and Church Ministries in 2011. From 1983 to 1990 he worked as associate and youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church, and as athletic director and teacher at Tabernacle Christian School in Litchfield N.H. After having spent 17 years as missionaries in Venezuela, God then led Ed and his family to Beaufort to care for aging parents and to serve as Spanish Pastor within Community Bible Church. In June of 2011, Ed joined the full-time staff at CBC as Pastor of Member Care and Assimilation and Spanish Ministries.

Director of Children 's Ministries

Randy is the Children's Ministry Director of Community Bible Church. Randy grew up in Walterboro, SC while his wife Evelyn, though born in Baltimore, Maryland, grew up in Beaufort. They were married in 1979 and have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. They have served the Lord together for most of their married life and both have helped in children's ministries at a local Baptist Church for 10 years and now here at CBC since 1990. Evelyn serves alongside Randy from their home helping him coordinate, develop and staff the children's programs at CBC. They began this ministry together in August of 2003. Evelyn, who has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in elementary education has spent time in a public school classroom but now spends her time home educating her school age children, and enjoys developing plans, curriculum and activities for the children of CBC. As Children's Ministry Director, Randy coordinates all children's events and ministries, including Sunday School, Awana, Kid's Life, and special events such as Vacation Bible School and the Easter Eggstravaganza so that as many people, children AND families, who wish to come and hear about the Lord Jesus may do so. Together Randy & Evelyn desire to provide opportunities for the children of this community to come and learn of the love and salvation that our Savior offers. They hope to minister to families by providing the very best programs for their children that will teach them of Christ and partner with parents to develop children into godly individuals who wish to serve the Lord with all their heart.

Rick and his wife Deb were married in 1982 and both came to faith in Christ the following year. Rick has a B.A. in Business from the University of South Carolina. While managing cable companies in the Seattle area, Rick first listened to Christian radio there. He realized the importance this medium offered in spreading the gospel. He and Deb prayed that some day God might somehow allow them to serve Him in this ministry. Through a series of incredible circumstances God opened a door and seven years later Rick took over the management of WAGP, the church's radio station. Deb came alongside and began handling the administrative end of the station.

Steve Guthrie

Steve grew up in the lowcountry and has lived here for over 30 years. He and his wife, Katie, were married in 2002 and have three boys; Aaron, Noah and Nathan. Before joining the staff at CBC, Steve had over 16 years experience in design and video. He attended USC-Aiken where he earned a BA in Graphic Design while playing collegiate baseball. In 2010, Steve felt the Lord calling him to full time ministry and then in 2011, the Lord answered many prayers and made it very clear that CBC was where He wanted him to serve. Steve is responsible for the CBC 'brand' for all the graphical elements of print and digital media for the CBC website, bulletins, newsletters, invitational cards, sermon themes . . . etc. Steve is also over video promotional materials for services, events, and social media.
