DAVID

David was born in Madrid in 1971 into a mixed British-Spanish family and grew up in a fully biligual environment. He lived in Spain during his childhood and teenage years and then moved to the UK, where he completed a degree in Linguistics at the University of Manchester. For four years he taught English as a foreign language in Spain and Saudi Arabia, and then switched languages to become a Spanish teacher and teacher trainer. It was at this time that he started working as a freelance translation on a part time basis.
