Brigid Fernandez graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2006 where she received the Academic Excellence Award in Legal Profession for achieving the highest grade. Her first case was tried as a third year law student. She was later recognized for her commitment to public service when she was awarded the 2006 Saint Louis University School of Law David Grant Student Attorney Award. Brigid is a Certified Civil Mediator. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Fernandez has a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree of Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After nearly twenty years as a highly respected social worker in one of the largest healthcare systems in the State of Missouri, Brigid attained her law degree in order to continue her support for older adults and persons with disabilities. Her unique combination of education and experience makes her a strong advocate for her clients and their families, offering a rare and valuable insight of the inner mechanisms of the healthcare system and long-term care facilities.
