Phil Hampsten formed Hampsten Consulting, LLC in 2015 because of his passion for disaster recovery and flood and hazard mitigation... Hampsten Consulting has partnered with multiple firms to provide grant management and project management activities for various cities and counties across Texas. We have overseen projects responsible for elevating over 250 homes funded through various FEMA grant programs. These elevation programs total more than 55-million-dollars in federal funds, and programs continue to come in. We have also assisted communities with applications for more than 80-million-dollars in federal disaster recovery and mitigation funds. Recently we were asked to be the funding source expert on a team of engineering firms and other organizations performing a 25-million-dollar flood and drainage study for 5 watersheds in the Southeast Texas region... Phil served the citizens of the State of Texas on the State's Disaster Recovery program administered by the Texas General Land..
