LORI NELSON-MARTIN

I first remember feeling inspired to become a therapist after being the recipient of some life saving help as teen, suffering from an eating disorder, enmeshed in unhealthy personal, familial and social dynamics. In my 20's, while pursuing a successful marketing career, I was beginning to suffer daily aches and pains, was fatigued and continued to struggle to accept my body and feel comfortable in it. In my 30's and 40's, I learned and grew so much in the process of finding partnership, triumphing over age related fertility issues and ultimately giving birth to my son. My experiences with Hellerwork Structural Integration, yoga, psychotherapy, energetic work and other therapeutic healing modalities have allowed me to live with more ease, balance and peace than I could have imagined possible at one time.
