Welcome! The St Andrews Shinty Club was first established in the early fourteenth century but was banned for some time in 1831 for disorderly conduct involving a flagpole and a goat. Despite that, many members continued to play in secret and the club was finally reinstated thanks to a small contingent of friends in the late 60s. And ever since.
