WOODWORKS CONSTRUCTION

I grew up traveling the world before settling in Arlington, Va, then attending UVa ending up with a degree in International Relations. A month later I married the love of my life, Donna, who I met in Switzerland. We have been blessed with two lovely daughters, and now charming grandchildren. Upon graduation, I worked for Administrative Computing at the University, as well as discovering an inherent love of woodworking. I started with carving and made some modest furniture, as well as oil and acrylic painting to escape the pressures of the computing world. A mentor introduced me to a couple who were starting a women's clothing store and I was asked to build all of the fixtures, some walls and displays. I went on to working for a local entrepreneur and built a couple of restaurants on the University Corner. I worked in a partnership for 11 years, then continued as sole proprietor.
