BLUE HAVEN FIREARMS - Key Persons
Chris was born and raised in Oklahoma. From a young age, he had a fascination with firearms which turned into a hobby and eventually a career. One of his favorite things to say is "You can't own a gun store without liking guns".
Chris went into the Military straight out of High School as an Army Reserve Drill Sergeant. Since his time serving in the military, he has worked for several big consumer agencies including DirecTV before starting Blue Haven Firearms LLC in 2015.
Chris is heavily involved in the community and you will see him at events throughout Midwest City from time to time. He also actively partners with the Midwest City Police Department and Citizen's Police Academy.
Chris is an Oklahoma SDA Instructor and a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor.
When Robbie was growing up, he had two careers he wanted to pursue. One was being a Police Officer and the other was to own his own gun Store. In 2013, Robbie went to work for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC), and was promoted to Sergeant before the end of his time with ODOC.
During his law enforcement career, Robbie became a Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor, teaching hundreds of people each year how to use Pistols, Shotguns and Rifles. He also served on the facility CERT team and eventually became an Armorer for his facility. Robbie was with several joint training operations with the Oklahoma County Sherriff's Office.
Robbie is an Oklahoma SDA Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Instructor and a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor.
Robert was born and raised in Colorado Springs. At the age of 17, he joined the U.S. Navy. After being deployed to the Persian Gulf War as an H-60 helicopter engine, rotor systems, and transmission mechanic, he returned to the states where he attended the military law enforcement academy in San Antonio, TX. After graduating top of his class, he was selected for special duty to include Air Marshal and Federal Prisoner Transport out of Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City.
Soon after ending a 15-year military career, he became a Regional Training Manager and Regional Safety Manager at DirecTV. Where he eventually met and became friends with Chris. In 2014, he relocated his family back to Colorado Springs. In early 2017, with his wife and brother by his side, he decided to leave his career at DirecTV that he had become accustomed to and opened Oasis Custom Firearms.
Robert and his family re-located back to Oklahoma City, OK in late 2023 where he joined the Blue Haven Family. Robert is a Master Gunsmith and Machinist and is looking forward to serving the Midwest City area for years to come.
Will was an integral part of the Blue Haven team shortly after its inception. He volunteered his time on Saturdays and assisted whenever he was able. In 2012, Will graduated from OSU Okmulgee with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. He went on to get his Bachelor's degree in 2015 with a major in History. Finally, he achieved his Master's Degree in History with an emphasis on Museum Studies in 2018.
Will became a full-time team member of Blue Haven Firearms in April 2021. He has held certifications with the American Red Cross in CPR/First Aid and is currently a Medical Instructor. Will is also a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor.
