Brooke is an Associate in the firm's Estate Planning / Probate Department. Brooke's specific areas of interest include simple wills to Medicaid planning, guardianships, and trust and estate administration. Brooke is expanding her area of practice to adoptions and LGBTQ+ issues. Brooke appreciates the opportunity to help individuals with a wide range of estate planning needs. Brooke completed her undergraduate education at Thomas More University, cum laude, in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Sports and Entertainment Marketing and an Associates's in Spanish and Business Administration. Brooke obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2020 with a Business and Compliance Law Concentration. Brooke was involved with Human Rights Awareness and Advocacy Group, Phi Alpha Delta, and Sports and Entertainment Law Society. In August of 2022, Brooke received her Master's in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

Chance O. Cox

Chance joined Dungan & LeFevre in January of 2023. His primary areas of practice include Business/Commercial Law, Domestic Relations, and Municipal Law. He is an attorney at the firm. Before joining Dungan & LeFevre, Chance practiced at a law firm in Greenville, Ohio, starting in the fall of 2016 until coming to Dungan & LeFevre. Chance is admitted to the bars of the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Chance received his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School in 2016. Before law school, he attended Ball State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in history and minoring in political science and geography. Chance lives outside of Versailles, Ohio, with his wife, Allison, and their two daughters. He is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Darke County United Way and the Grace Resurrection Community Center.

J. Steven Justice

After spending 15 years as a partner with a large regional law firm, Mr. Justice joined Dungan & LeFevre in 2011. He practices both civil litigation and criminal defense and represents non-profit corporations such as church denominations, individual churches, and para-church ministries. Regarding civil litigation, Mr. Justice has experience in the areas of business/commercial litigation, employment disputes, residential and commercial construction, environmental matters, real estate litigation, personal injury, toxic torts, product liability, probate litigation, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Justice has extensive class action experience in single and multi-district litigation, and he serves as a resource with questions involving electronic discovery. With respect to environmental matters, Mr. Justice has represented clients facing civil and criminal claims involving air emissions, waste water management, CERCLA cost recovery, disposal of medical/infectious waste, solid waste landfills, disposal of controlled substances, and brownfields transactions. Regarding criminal defense matters, Mr. Justice represents persons charged with felonies or misdemeanors in federal or state courts. He serves as a member of the Criminal Justice Act felony panel for the Southern District of Ohio, Dayton Division, and he is a zealous advocate for his clients. Mr Justice also serves as counsel to a national Protestant church denomination, local churches of various backgrounds, and para-church ministries that serve the community. Mr. Justice is a member of the Federal, Ohio, Dayton, and Miami County Bar Associations. Mr. Justice resides in Troy with his wife, Susan.

James D. Brookshire - Shareholder, VP

James graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from the Department of Natural and Mathematical Science in 1983. He graduated from the University Of Dayton School of Law and was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1991. Since that time, his practice has emphasized auto crash personal injury claims, motorcycle crash personal injury claims, and trucking crash personal injury claims, as well as wrongful death claims, insurance coverage claims, home construction claims, medical negligence, and appellate practice. James is also admitted to practice and has appeared in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Prior to his law career, James worked in the field of exploration geophysics in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Norway, Egypt, Tunisia and other parts of North Africa. Prior to joining Dungan & LeFevre, James also worked in the area of insurance defense. Throughout his career as a trial attorney, James has represented hundreds of individuals and corporations and has extensive jury trial and appellate experience. James was born and raised in the Miami Valley and resides in Dayton with his wife Nancy.

John E. (Jack) Hemm

Jack is a lifetime resident of Miami County. He graduated with a business degree from Miami University in 1979 and a law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1982. He has been a partner with Dungan & LeFevre since 1993 and a staff attorney with the Miami County Public Defender's office since 1985. Jack practices primarily in the areas of criminal law, domestic relations, and estate planning. Because he has been in practice for so many years, he is also a great source for referrals for all types of legal matters. Jack and his wife, Robin (also a lifetime resident of Miami County), have three children and, presently, three grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling, among other interests.

Michael A. Rieman joined Dungan & LeFevre in 2018. His primary areas of practice include Real Estate and Civil Litigation. Mr. Rieman has experience in all areas of real estate law, including the acquisition, sale, and leasing of residential and commercial real estate, landlord/tenant law, foreclosures, and zoning and development matters. Prior to joining Dungan & LeFevre, Mr. Rieman practiced with Bieser, Greer, & Landis, LLP in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Rieman also previously practiced in Greenville, Ohio, handling real estate transactions, estate planning, and estate administration. While in Greenville he worked directly with financial institutions and realtors on all aspects of real estate closings. Mr. Rieman is admitted to the bars of the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Rieman is very active in his hometown of Greenville, Ohio, where he resides with his wife Amanda and his three children. He is currently the President of the Board of Trustees of Family Health Services of Darke County, Trustee of Elk's Lodge 1139, and Recorder of Knights of Columbus Council 1796. Previously, Mr. Rieman was President of the Board of Trustees of State of the Heart Hospice as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greenville City Schools Foundation. Mr. Rieman received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2011. While at Notre Dame, he was elected to the Honor Council and was a member of the Business Law Forum. Sarah G. Worley - President, Shareholder

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Dayton and received her law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. She is admitted to the bars of the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Sarah is a member of the Miami County Bar Association, the Dayton Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. Sarah is a Shareholder and a Director at Dungan & LeFevre, and she currently serves as the Board President. Sarah is one of approximately 200 attorneys in the State of Ohio to be recognized as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. She is also a graduate of the Dayton Bar Association's Leadership Academy (2013) and serves as a member of its Probate Law Committee. Sarah has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2016-2017; 2017-2018; 2018-2019; 2019-2020). This list names outstanding young lawyers in the state of Ohio (those 40 years old or younger, or those who have been in practice for 10 years or less). William J. McGraw, III

William McGraw has been an attorney since 1973, and with Dungan & LeFevre since its inception. He is a Certified Specialist in the area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the Ohio State Bar Association and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is the Past Chair of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Council of the Ohio State Bar Association. He has been recognized as one of Ohio's "Super Lawyers" by Cincinnati Magazine, each year since its inception in 2004. He was named one of the top 50 lawyers in the Dayton/Cincinnati area and one of the top 100 Super Lawyers in the entire State of Ohio. William McGraw handles estate planning, trust, and probate matters ranging from complex estate tax planning to basic will preparation. He helps people avoid probate, does simple and complex trust planning and counsels people regarding powers of attorney, living wills and healthcare powers of attorney. Bill is experienced in the use of Family Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts as well as sales to IDGTs (Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts). Bill handles a variety of business planning matters including Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Family Limited Partnerships, and helps owners of businesses in business succession planning. He has served as an expert witness in trust and estate litigation and is considered one of Ohio's preeminent experts in Trust, Estate Planning, and Probate law. A 1972 graduate with honors from The Ohio State University College of Law, Bill also serves on the Editorial Board of the Ohio Probate Law Journal, for which he has authored a number of articles. He speaks at estate planning CLE seminars, helping to teach Ohio lawyers estate planning techniques. He was one of the original members of the Joint Banker/Bar Committee which authored and oversaw passage of the Ohio Trust Code.
