Amanda Davey

Amanda provides leadership on proposal development and project management for the Sustainable Village Water Systems Program in Tanzania, and leads gender research and monitoring and evaluation for USAID Feed the Future projects in Senegal. Before joining GWI, Amanda worked at the Ohio State School of Environment and Natural Resources managing USAID and National Science Foundation funded projects in Senegal where she was instrumental in establishing an Agro-ecology degree program at the University of Gaston Berger. She taught biology and natural science at Columbus State Community College for ten years, and is a founding member of Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed and the Agro-Shrub Alliance. Amanda holds an MS degree in Environmental Policy and Law, a BS degree in Sustainable Resource Management, and a BA in Political Science all from The Ohio State University.

Jennifer Kashani Motlagh

Tom Darrah

Job Titles:
  • Executive Director
Tom is a faculty member in the School of Earth Sciences within the College of Arts and Sciences. He is an internationally-recognized scholar with broad research interests in issues of water and human health, water quality, critical energy resources, and noble-gas geochemistry. His active research program is funded by the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, the Department of Energy, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, as well as various international government, industry, and foundational sponsors.
