Prior to founding Juniper Point, Amy spent 13 years as head of investor relations and corporate communications at San Diego biotech companies Anadys Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Roche in 2011) and Regulus Therapeutics (RGLS), acting as the primary Wall-Street facing leader and solidifying deep relationships with market-moving analysts, bankers, and buy-siders. She has extensive expertise in building and financing companies across multiple therapeutic modalities including small molecules, biologics, and RNA therapeutics, and has been involved in eight IPO processes, numerous follow-on transactions, and pharma partnerships.
Amy was born and raised in California and has called San Diego home since 2003. She is passionate about the San Diego biotechnology ecosystem and where the community fits into the broader, global landscape. She has been a past president of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and is a frequent speaker on industry panels.
When she's not working, you can find Amy on the basketball court, riding her bike, or playing with her son and dogs Taco and Chili.

Jennifer Austin is the founder of BioCraft Studio, where she is the lead creative. Specializing in the Life Sciences and Biotech industries, her main focus is corporate decks, illustrations and animations, and general marcom for social media, web, and print.
Before starting BioCraft, Jennifer spent 20 years with Alden Marketing Communications. As the Executive Vice President, she oversaw the web department and fostered client relationships, some going back more than 10 years. Jennifer began in 2000 as a 2D and 3D animator but continued to expand her skill set to include conceptualization, strategic planning, design, storyboarding, website design and development, and account services.
Jennifer was born in Brantford, Ontario. She grew up in Canada, England, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario and an Associate's Degree in New Media from Platt College in San Diego.
"A job well done gives me the greatest satisfaction," Jennifer says. "There's nothing like seeing a project that has come together visually and functionally."
When she's not working, she plays tennis, hikes, and spends time with her family.
