SEPTA

​The Fraternal Order of Transit Police (FOTP) was establish in 1992. The FOTP currently has 181 active members who ensure the safety of the public, specifically the millions of residents of the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding 5 counties, who make use of SEPTA's transit system. The active members enforce city and state laws to make certain SEPTA passengers as well as SEPTA employees are safe 24/7. Our members take pride in serving and protecting the daily riders of the transit system, which in 2015 amounted to a total of over 330 million SEPTA riders.
